Stopped by Smallcakes while out in the area to get a quick sweet treat and was greeted by an amazing staff member name Sapree. She was very knowledgeable of the product and made us feel right at home. We love the cakes here. Smallcakes and Tyme are in the area stopping by as a list. There’s free parking and plenty of other things to do in the shopping complex. Warning, everything in their display case will have you wanting to take it home.

This place is always a wonderful treat and the staff is very friendly. I picked up 12 mini cupcakes in addition to a few of their 'normal sized' cupcakes (which are pretty big). I forget to take a picture as my kids and I devour them so quickly!
Dropped in on a whim. It was hard to pick one, so I got 4, and even that was hard. So many yummy flavors to choose from. They even have gluten free and vegan cupcakes and a special "pupcake" for your favorite fur baby. Not to mention how deliciously moist they are. The shop is a little tight, but the is my only complaint. The staff was great. Show yourself some love and drop in for a treat. You can thank me later. 😉

Smallcakes catered my wedding and all the desserts were delicious. Cupcakes and cake were very moist and flavorful. All other items brownies and cookies were freshly made. Worth every penny and the staff was amazing.
Says they are open 12-5 today but the door says they are closed. Drive an hour and a half in Father’s Day to come here with my family and they are closed. Need to update your hours if this is incorrect. Seriously irritated it got my kids excited and now we are all disappointed… truly frustrating. Management needs to do better for sure…..
To be clear the 1 stars for the food service and atmosphere is because the place is closed so all in all the experience was worth the 1 star… the management here is clearly in defense and doesn’t comprehend what it means to run a business. Next time leave my review alone or leave a sincere apology not a petty one. Also contact google and change the hours to “ hours may differ” totally in your control!

They made our wedding cake and it got rave reviews from all the guests. It was gorgeous and it tasted amazing!
Ella was absolutely amazing! She gave her personal opinion and ensured we had the best experience! The boxes are well-designed to ensure the cupcakes don’t move in transit. We were so happy when we got home and the cupcakes looked just as they did in pictures and at the store.The carrot cake cupcake was for me and it was PERFECT! Not too sweet. Not too carrot-y, if you know what I mean. Definitely coming back, and hopefully, it’ll be a night Ella’s working!
Ordered a cake last minute for my sister’s birthday, chose their rainbow surprise cake as it was one of their signature flavors and was a pretty simple cake. It was delicious!!! The cake itself was very moist and the icing had a good sweetness to it without being too sweet. Even my brother in law who doesn’t really like sweets raved about how good it was! Needless to say we will definitely be using Smallcakes for future parties and events?

I met these two at Zinchouse during the Friday market. They were both extremely friendly and shared info on all the cupcakes. I must say that the cupcakes were delicious! I'm not much of a sweets person and each cupcake was not only super moist but not overly sweet. I'm sad they are only one the far side of Cary but I will for sure stop in when in the area!! Thank you both for putting in the time to come to the market, working hard and doing a great job!

I'm LATE! I have already worn out my welcome to this owner run bakery, bcuz her goods are that GOOD! I actually found her by accident, having just moved in the area (very friendly oriented area)My visiting sister and I just wanted to satisfy our sugar fever the night before she was schedule to fly back home!!! I truly don't recall which ones we sampled and I usually have a limit on what I will spend for my "sweet tooth" BUT you can't leave with just "ONE"......so I , we didn't and I challenge you to try!..........KUDOS Smallcakes...... my new personal bakery shop!!!!!??????❤️?
Parking: Its a shopping complex with lots of slots. You may have to walk a bit but it's worth it!!!
