I’ve been a smoothie king lover for a little over a year now. The smoothies are much better than Tropical smoothie. Ok 1/3/26 around 10:45 am my husband and I purchased a smoothie, we always get the mango kale; delicious. _ There were two boys working. Upon walking in I witnessed a young man coughing, rubbing his nose and playing in his hair; disgusting! Another guy took my order and the other young man proceeded to start making our smoothies. I injected, would you please make my smoothies to the cashier. I didn’t get my receipt so I don’t know their names. The guy that took my order was very professional and displayed a nice demeanor. It’s very un sanitary to play in your hair, wipe your nose and varies other things while handling people’s food. He has a Mohawk and looked like he just rolled out of bed to come to work. My husband and I sat inside and we witnessed this young man constantly playing in his hair and never washed his hands. Is this type of work ethic allowed here?

I’ve been a Smoothie King customer for well over 10 years and have been consistently going to the Wes Cary location for about 5 years and can say that Frank and Carol truly put the customer first. They train their staff well and the store (both this location and Morrisville) are extremely clean. I’ve been to other locations in the Triangle and they could take some notes on cleanliness and customer service. This location is the very best!!

We come here all the time and they’re usually very good but they’ve recently hired some staff who don’t do as a good a job. Showed up this morning at 8:15 and they were closed even though their hours say they open at 8.

We had a terrible experience at this Smoothie King location. The service was shockingly bad from the moment we walked in. The guy taking our order was incredibly rude and seemed annoyed that we were even there. Not only were the drinks poorly made and nothing like what we ordered, but when we asked for a refund — which they initially promised — they completely backtracked and refused to honor it.
We tried to be patient and reasonable, but the way we were treated was unacceptable. If you’re looking for good customer service or quality drinks, I’d highly recommend going elsewhere. Very disappointing.
