Our waitress was so kind and it was a treat to our kids to have free yummy popsicles at the end!
This was an elevated experience for us. The quality of the food compared to similar restaurants (at least Mexican restaurants) was great. The steak fajitas were our favorite choice. Service was attentive and friendly. We will be back!
The tacos were not impressive, soggy corn and stale flour tortillas. The ambience was busy and noisy. The service was good.
I love Superica and always enjoy the food and experience! I made a reservation for a night particularly busy because of an event. Upon arriving to check-in (about 20 min early), the hostess was not very kind and made it sound like we may still have to wait on the waitlist, disregarding our reservation. It ended up working out and our scheduled time was honored, but she was not welcoming or very kind.
My daughter sent her food back due to hair. Not only did they not comp the meal but charged us twice to get the second one made. I asked them to take off the second meal when we saw the bill. If you notice the kitchen, no one is wearing a hair net. One another note, I asked for second beer and it took so long I asked another waiter to check on it. They eventually sent two beers to our table when I only wanted one more. Overall not happy.
The food quality isn't consistent. This was my second visit and it wasn't as good as my previous visit. Cocktails were just okay.
I've been to the Atlanta location. It's good upscale Tex-Mex. They would rank higher but: - When they sat us, there were at least 4 surrounding tables that were covered in dirty dishes and hadn't been bussed yet. - kind of expensive for what it is
Unique Mexican dishes and good service overall. I asked for no sour cream and when I received sour cream on my enchiladas I asked for a redo. The waiter was accommodating but I got the impression he didn't think I ordered without sour cream. We were there to celebrate birthdays and they gave us a gratis dish of leche soaked white cake with a candle. The candle was the best part! Overall I'd come here again for the same dish - vegetable enchiladas and black beans on the side.
Our server was clearly having an off day — we sat for almost 15 minutes before she came to take our drink orders and bring us chips, she gave us someone else's order of fajitas (which had been sitting out and were not hot), and billed us for a more expensive item than we ordered. This is very unusual, as every other time I've been to Superica it's been an exceptional experience. I'm sure this was a one off!
Very good location. The food was nice. The service was not horrible, but we expected more from a location in Fenton.

Meh. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside. Mistake #1. The music and noise from folks playing on the faux lawn next to the restaurant was so loud we had to lean across the table to chat. The chips and salsa were not great. Some chips were crispy and some were floppy and greasy - very under-fried. Two salsas were served - an avocado one that tasted like nothing and a chili one that was okay but not Great. I ordered enchiladas verdes - something hard to screw up. The enchiladas were okay but the refried beans were a pile of brown over-salted mush. The rice was the same with a different texture. My date got cheese quesadillas- again cuz they're hard to mess up. He said they were passable. We got the OG margaritas which were good but I could I could have cured a large ham with the amount of salt on the rim. Ever going back? Nope.
The customer service was great the food just wasn't good. Maybe something else on the menu may be good but what I order wasn't.
We had a very nice dinner on this return experience. With me being from Houston growing up in Memorial in the 1980's at the same time as Ford Fry, and my guest being from Dallas, we were in unique positions to judge the Superica menu and food preparation. I can attest that both achieve a Houston-level of authenticity and quality, which is rarely, if ever, achieved outside of South/Central Texas. Great job!! We will eagerly look forward to our next visit!
I ordered the chili relleno and it was wonderful. Two others who came with us, loved the food too. We all will be back.
Having worked in restaurants and spent lost o9f money on client dinners, I'm not impressed with many things: I asked for light beer and they didn't have one single type available. Surprised they don't carry Corona Premier, just corona light, so I had water. My colleague ordered an OG margarita which was a joke. It was small, served in a rocks glass which to me is poor value. My Fajitas had no mixed veg, only onions and one jalapeno pepper. Overall, everyone is better off going to any typical Mexican place in the triangle. Much better value. I don't think i'll go back for dinner with a client.
