I was excited to try Superica for the first time but left very disappointed. My cocktail hardly tasted like it had any alcohol and took a long time to arrive, followed by queso that took over 45 minutes and was watery, thin, and flavorless. When my $18 steak quesadilla finally came out, it was not only small for the price but the steak inside was completely raw. Steak in a quesadilla should never be served that way, ever. While I normally enjoy steak cooked medium rare to medium, this looked barely cooked and was inedible. When I mentioned it to the staff, the response about the raw steak was basically, “sometimes when we’re busy like this it can come out like that,” which is completely unacceptable. We sat outside, which was nice in theory, but kids on the lawn behind us were screaming so loudly that I could barely hear anyone at my table, and it went on for almost the entire time we were there (not the restaurant’s fault, but it made the experience even worse). Between the high prices, slow service, dismissive service response, and poor quality of both food and drinks, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I’ve had and I will not be returning.

Food was excellent! Got the steak Fajitas with queso, melted in your mouth kinda food, Chips and salsa (both spicy and regular) were great. The Hortchata was tasted great for a sweet treat. Only downside is that this place is pretty expensive, but the food does taste great.

First time eating at SuperRica, the food was delicious! Service was amazing thank you to Angelica! She was amazing, very attentive and helpful with the menu. I’ll be asking for her from now on, absolutely love this place and the atmosphere!

My husband and I have been visiting Superica since it opened. We have been so excited to have a local Tex mex restaurant in the area and have enjoyed the food until our last two visits. My husband’s father and grandfather are from Texas and we also make our own Mexican food at home. Today we came for lunch. The chips and salsa and were very good as usual. I ordered the grilled chicken poblano and my husband ordered the enchilada dinner and received the lunch enchilada special which only came with one enchilada. My chicken poblano dish was terrible. It had cubed chicken drenched with some type of red sauce. I had a hard time eating any of it. The beans were not the charo beans but refried beans that tasted like the ones right out of a can. My husband’s tortilla soup did not taste homemade. I tasted it and could not have eaten it. The chili sauce on my husband’s enchiladas appeared to have changed the last two times we came for a meal. Not good. Both of our meals were barely warm We did not complain to our server but left and said we would not return. Both of us are so disappointed. Just wanted management to know there have been changes in our opinion at this former five star restaurant..

Staff is friendly but there is a large green vase very intentionally blocking their low sanitation score. They should be visible by law. To get a 90 score, the kitchen has to have had some serious sanitation violations. We left once I walked behind the hostess station to see the hidden score. Once it improves, I'd love to try it.

I want to throw out a huge compliment to a couple of your employees! I go into superica in Fenton in Cary NC almost every Tuesday before I head to the movies. It is one of my favorite restaurants to visit, mostly because I love seeing Emma, Elli, and Maggie. They are so kind, inviting, great margarita makers, and just so lovely to be around. I’ve been with the same restaurant since college and just celebrated my 27th year. I know how tough it can be in this business right now, but with staff like these ladies, you have a good thing going there. I hope they know how much I enjoy coming to superica , the drinks, food, and seeing their smiling faces as well. I hope you can acknowledge them for a job well done. Had dinner here on 08/08/2025- around 6:30. We made a reservation at 7:15 but the hostess were awesome and were able to get us a table earlier. Our server was awesome, very energetic and very hospitable. We got the queso, guacamole, chicken Suizas, and tacos. The food was amazing, well balanced flavor and not too salty. We left with a cool book to try these recipes at home. 10/10 would recommend, 10/10 service.
