This was my first time having Jamaican food and it was sooooo good, everything was flavorful and juicy. I ordered the jerk chicken combo. So delicious and affordable. Will be coming back again!

If you're searching for an unforgettable taste of the islands, look no further. This Caribbean gem offers an explosion of flavor and authenticity that transports your senses straight to Jamaica with every bite.
I recently indulged in a hearty plate featuring curry goat, oxtail, cabbage, and rice & peas, and I was thoroughly impressed. The curry goat was incredibly tender, falling apart effortlessly, infused with a deep, rich curry flavor that speaks to hours of careful preparation and seasoning. Equally outstanding was the oxtail ; truly to die for, with a slow-cooked depth that bursts with bold, savory Caribbean spices.
The cabbage was a pleasant surprise: perfectly cooked, subtly seasoned, and providing a fresh balance to the richness of the meats. Paired with fluffy, fragrant rice and peas, this meal hit every note; comforting, satisfying, and utterly delicious.
Portions were generous, easily justifying the $30 price tag, and the value was matched by the warm, welcoming service. The shopkeep was incredibly friendly, offering genuine hospitality and a smile that made the experience feel even more like home. You can tell she really cares about the food that was made.
This is food made with love, heritage, and serious culinary skill. If I closed my eyes, I could almost hear the waves of the Caribbean Sea and feel the warmth of the Jamaican sun.
I highly recommend this establishment to anyone craving authentic Caribbean cuisine. It’s a five-star experience through and through. Thank you, I'll absolutely be back and can’t wait to try the jerk chicken next!

First visit and last visit. The food tasted good. My problem with with the portions. I paid $27 for a combo ox tails/jerk chicken plate and the oz tails were small and I didn't even receive a full container of cabbage and rice and beans. One would think that for a nearly $30 plate it would be enough to feed 2 people or to eat from more than once.

I went there yesterday and the food was good but the cabbage could have been better but overall I give them a 9 out of 10 on the jerk chicken and oxtail plates

I have tried numerous times to give this chance to place however they continuously disappoint me. I never get greeted when I walk through the door, however other patrons who appear to be from the islands like them do. There’s always a few people ahead of me (no more than 2), but yet the lady who is always at the register with the bad wig never asks to move to the side once they finish ordering- so the next person can order, like normal restaurants do. This would be understandable if the food was coming quick however I’ve waited as long as 15 minutes one time and still never even got as much as a hello.

Got the red pea soup and the dumplings were soft, no veggies besides 1 potato and there was zero meat! I called to let the manager/ owner know and she stated they use meat maybe it just cooked down but I informed her that there was NO SIGN of meat in that soup and we bought 2 cups. The broth was also different almost as if the soup was vegetarian. She was not apologetic and offered no resolution besides “ letting them know” I’m assuming “them” are the cooks.

I loved it here, food was great, patties were to my liking and had a good taste. Sorrel could of had a bit less sugar but still amazing. Oxtail was falling off the bone. I must say I did enjoy the meals purchase. Now I know where to get my Yardi food

Used to love this place until a year ago I got 2 plates of jerk chicken and it smelled like raw chicken before I even opened it. Against my better thought I ate a piece anyways. I got sick from both ends immediately and threw both trays out, haven't been back since. Today I was desperate for lunch on my way to work. Got oxtails tray and there were only 2 pieces of oxtails that were mostly fat and had a light taste of soap. I don't know what is going on but I have wasted my money here for the last time. Paid $19 today for 2 pieces of oxtails, so disappointed!
We ordered oxtails and curried goat for July 4th. My Caribbean guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and so did I! I would order again for my get together.

Horrible attitude from the 2 woman in there today, won't be back no wonder it empty. They don't believe in service with a smile. The jerk chicken is just ok carrot cake was dry And I make it a point to support my own when I travel.
