Lovely restaurant where a friend and I couldn't decide which appetizer, so we ordered almost all of them for dinner. It was fabulous! Everything was delicious and the service was amazing! We got dessert to go since we were so full but couldn't choose just one dessert either!

The two stars are for the ambience and the friendly server. We ordered 9 items as we were a large group. Everything we ordered was bad tasting. The eggs Benedict were too salty, the Mayton burger had no flavor and almost everything else the rest of us ordered was just meh or worse. The server was friendly but did not once ask us if the food was ok or if we were enjoying our meal ( we would have told him then that it was not). I would not recommend this for its food. The location and ambience were very good.
Jacob was an excellent server and the library provided a great ambiance for our anniversary lunch.

Delicious food, ambiance was relaxing and quiet with beautiful decor, the kind that made you want to redecorate your own house. Kind and patient waitress.
Went for brunch. The shakshuka was 2 hard boiled egg in spaghetti sauce with burnt toast. The johnny cakes also had hard boiled not poached eggs as listed on menu. The chicken for the chicken and waffles was inedibly overcooked The kitchen took an hour to get our food out.
Extremely disappointed

The atmosphere is beautiful and it’s such a nice place to meet friends or enjoy a night out. Definitely a great addition to downtown Cary.

Me and My girlfriend went here for our one year anniversary and got brunch and it was a amazing experience. I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicous. I got chicken and waffles and they were excellently cooked and served very nicely. Well done Peck and Plume!

Slow service, cold and overcooked dry food. Skillet cornbread was burnt, kids meals were $15!!!! And who serves chicken tenders and doesn't have honey mustard, only ketchup. I got the Dayton burger and the buns were burnt and the burger was dry and my fries were overcooked. No ketchup on the table so I had to wait for ketchup refills???? Tea refills took forever. We also got Fish tacos and they were so dry and unflavorful. Not coming back to this overhyped and overpriced restaurant.

We went with another couple specifically to enjoy Restaurant week and loved it! The $15 wine pairing was fabulous and food delicious! Our server was Marisa and we would absolutely love to be seated in her section again - she was super helpful with recommendations, attentive & just a very pleasant person! Can't wait to return!
The actual servers are great but the management and food is horrible. Forcing staff to come in during an ice storm and not proving accommodations is deplorable and dangerous. Never eating here again.

Beautiful atmosphere and good service but she was literally checking on us every 5 mins. so it became annoying very fast, as she interrupted our conversation every time. I had the Shakshuka, which was bland, lacked flavor and spice. Coffee was ok. I wish they offered fresh squeezed orange juice on brunch menu.

Our server was wonderful, but unfortunately the two hostesses working the host stand had quite an attitude and made us feel very unwelcome.
Always a lovely experience to walk through the Mayton Inn and head to Peck and Plume. Our server was great. The person serving the food kept on bringing food to our table that wasn't ours, which was kind of funny (because it happened a few times). Drinks were good. Food was good. Definitely a nice spot for a meal in downtown Cary.
