Love this place! Classy but not extravagant, very reasonable menu quality matches the price.

We've been to Peck & Plume many times and always had a great meal. Last night was our first time under the new chef's helm, and it was a disappointment. The food was not great and the staff was a bit off. It was the Tuesday after a holiday weekend, so I'll give them a pass and try again. Hope it gets back to the stellar restaurant we've enjoyed in the past.

We sat outside on their lovely patio, enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine, and had an overall great lunch. Only two things left us from leaving a 100% perfect review. The waiter did not refill our wine or water glasses at all during our meal, and the lunch special sandwich I ordered was light on fillings, a couple of bites was all bun. It was a delicious bun though! We will definitely eat here again.

The covered patio is lovely and we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch. We recommend the chicken salad and the chocolate mousse with salted caramel. We will come again.

The library is SO much quieter - if they have a small table there, take it! We really enjoyed the quieter space so that we could talk. Food was great, service was excellent.

Peck and Plume has great food and ambiance. It always take forever to get drinks and food. I would give it 5 stars if service was consistently good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, food and the service at Peck & Plume. The setting is also very lovely and relaxing.

This was a girls dinner out and our first time at Peck & Plume. Everything was a 15/10 experience! We loved that it was extremely quiet, as if we found a gem. We chose this restaurant because we like to walk after we enjoy a lovely meal, and the location to Cary Downtown Park is very convenient. We loved how inviting it was from the minute we entered. We enjoyed looking at the artwork and a chat in the lounge while we waited for our table. Our waitress was perfectly present throughout the entire experience. The braised short ribs and grilled salmon dishes were divine. We loved the combination of ingredients for each dish.. not too spicy.. just a perfect balance of flavors! The lemon pound cake and chocolate pot a creme were absolutely sensational and paired well with our main dishes. We can't wait to visit again when temperature is cooler, so that we can enjoy the outdoor patio. Thank you for a great experience from start to finish!

I found this restaurant last minute on my way to Raleigh. I made really via Open Table. We were seated right away. I love how they have an option on open table for seat preference I.e outdoor or indoor. The Food was superrrrrr fresh. I felt they hand picked every vegetable, meat themselves. Theres nothing like fresh breakfast food. Food period .

Peck & Plume needs better training for their servers. Our server did not know the details of items on the menu. Also, we had to try to flag servers down to get a box to-go. We understand their brunch is busy; however, it seems that the servers only go to their own tables and don't respond to other tables. My husband had to finally get up and find our server. The waffle (with chicken and waffle) was supposed to come with toasted pecans but it did not have any pecans. Also, I had a side order of bacon. The bacon was poor quality, more like streak 'o lean- mostly fat. We expect better food quality and service from the Mayton establishment. We've been coming here for years.

I frequently visit this establishment and the food and service is always fantastic. All the servers here are wonderful especially Kate and Gracie and the hostess Maria is such a darling.

Claire, our bartender was great, as was Jacob our waiter. The food was great as usual. Love it there.

Overall, our experience was just average. Peck and Plume is in an historic hotel with lots of character, and the bar was buzzing with the crowd, which was nice. I was underwhelmed with Peck and Plume, especially given the new celebrated chef on board. Maybe my expectations were too high. We both got fish tacos, which were good but uneven. Some (of 3) had lots of veggies and fish and others had little filling. They came with yucca fries, which my friend loved; mine were tough and overly breaded. Service was attentive but slow. I'd go back, if I were in the area, but would probably stick to the lively bar.

Service was a little slow but otherwise great experience. Food was great. Vibe is really fun. Recommend it

Second time eating here. Fantastic food. Great service. There are a couple of tables in the "library" area, which is very romantic and private. May have to walk a bit to find a place to park on the weekends. Also its next door to the Downtown Cary park which has free entertainment at times.
