A Rustic spot without the rust!! Clean furniture set in flexible conversation arrangements with an easy “walk up” counter for ordering your favorite drink! Love the thoughtful touch of plants, too!

Disrespected and Targeted. This is the experience we had at the Walk Up. A relatively new bartender there (Jen from NY?) is rude, unfriendly, and bad for business. Before we even ordered our drinks and sat at the bar, she had an attitude with the customers in front of us. When my friend asked if she could put espresso beans in the espresso martini, her response was curt. Also, my friend didn't like his drink and asked another bartender (James) to make it as he had made it the previous times we had visited there. She was upset at my friend for not liking it and unfortunately, she made it again.
So because of her bad attitude and bad service, my friend didn't tip. When I paid for my tab, she threw the card at the counter like she was going to get a disease by hold it for more than a second. Before leaving, my friend very calmly and politely offered her feedback about his experience. She said he was being disrespectful by not tipping and right after she said that, she asked us to leave. We also explained this whole matter to another bartender (Dakota) who claimed to be the acting manager and he could only say we had to leave. Now, the whole time we were sitting there, we weren't being loud, not causing disturbance, not drunk (between the 2 of us, had only 3-4 drinks total that night), or anything of that nature.
This is what happens when you don't have a manager present at your establishment, hire people who are in the service industry but don't like people, and keep staff who aren't fans of customers who look and talk differently than almost all of the crowd there. It's sad becuase I've brought groups of people here and won't be doing so again. Yes, I will be talking to the actual manager about this because this is unacceptable behavior and needs to be called out.

During my fifth visit to this establishment, I encountered an unusual situation. One of the bartenders appeared visibly distressed and proceeded to place the drink menu in front of me. In response, I simply handed her the menu without opening it and directly requesting an espresso martini. Despite her persistent demeanor, I chose to pay for my drink without leaving a gratuity and refraining from further interaction. As I was departing, I expressed my understanding that the job can be challenging, but I did not appreciate the disrespectful treatment I received. She responded by stating that my lack of a tip was disrespectful and that I should leave. However, this response appeared contradictory, as it implied that I should still provide a tip despite the negative treatment I had endured. Subsequently, a staff member who was not the manager, as she was on vacation, supported the bartender’s statement. This situation was unfortunate and exemplified a lack of professionalism from both parties involved.

Great atmosphere and vibe! Went there with my wife on a Monday.
New bartender (I think her name was Dorion) was very friendly and attentive!
LOVE The Walkup!!! Jason and all of the staff are amazing. If you want great drinks, chill atmosphere, and a great 21+ place to relax, highly recommended

Drinks are good, but service could be better. My group and I sat down to look at the menu before buying drinks. The bartender raised his voice and was demanding everyone’s IDs. It was just super weird, maybe have someone at the door instead of yelling at customers across the bar.
I've met my fair share of rude bartenders, but this one makes the rest look like saints

Good drinks reasonably priced. Not much of an atmosphere though. Maybe some music videos or something on the screens. They were just static images of paintings.

Been going here on occasion for a few years. Used to have great staff. Always bought a bottle of wine and took home what wasn't finished. Tonight though a totally different atmosphere and I was totally taken aback as we're the group we were in. To start with, asked to taste a particular wine, not possible because only sold by the bottle. Then asked to taste the chenin blanc which was nice and ordered a bottle of, Cork for wine was not provided and asked for same, should I want to take unfinished bottle home, not allowed apparently. Turns out new management don't allow taking unfinished bottles away unless they are packaged for takeout by vendor. Said vendor does not provide packaging, makes me wonder. Taking advantage of the customer and all about the 💰 🤑

Cute little bar ?
Not a bit selection of cocktails (specifically for a sugar-addicted person, who only loves sweet stuff), but such a nice atmosphere!
