I am from Orlando Florida and just moved here from Illinois. I was happy to find a Tijuana Flats in my area so today I order the chicken flautas. I was disappointed to see the dish so plain. In Orlando the Chicken Flautas are served with finely shredded lettuce and Pico de gallo. I always asked for green salsa and queso. The dish needs to be improved to look more appealing.

Asked for double stack tacos and unfortunately the staff seemed kind of confused at what I was ordering. After asking for assistance they figured it out which was fine, it really did not bother me. But as a prior employee for 4 years at this exact location what did bother me was their ability to build a taco. I feel bad writing this because the staff was very nice but First off they lost my ticket, which was completely fine as they remade it swiftly. What is not fine is making my taco so quickly that it is not made how it’s supposed to. Double stack tacos are supposed to have queso spread “coast to coast” and the taco ingredients are not supposed to be spilling on top of the queso inside the shell. It is very simple. Queso on flour shell, put hard taco shell on, and then add ingredients. Management has changed frequently and I honestly pity the employees. There is an obvious lack of training. If there is not change this tijuana flats will hold the same fate as the Raleigh and Cary store.
