I asked the employee to wash his hands. He stated to me that they do not have to wash their hands because they wear gloves. I also asked for a refund the employees did not know how they tried calling their manager. She did not answer when they tried calling her until I called and texted her from my phone so unprofessional.

I used to work here and this place is disgusting. I worked here when I was 15 and I was forced to close alone most nights. This place used to be good but the new manager has caused this place to go downhill. I got moldy blueberries on my bowl and a freezing cold wrap with not melted cheese. Please don’t come here unless you want to get sick 🤢

Ordered ahead and took over 30 minutes and counting for orders to be completed. Haven’t been here in awhile but smoothies were pretty flavorless. Definitely going to be awhile before I visit a Tropical Smoothie again.

I discovered this place about a month ago, and have already ordered three times. The food is delicious and filling, with many healthy options. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is because the service is not great. It's hit or miss, it seems. It's true what others have said, that some of the employees at this location, talk to each other and their friends, and ignore the customers. But I like the food and smoothies, so I order it ahead of time, then just pop in and pick it up, and leave. It's in a convenient location, and is very clean.

This is the usual tropical I go to and it’s been a 5 everytime but I guess they hired new boys that have been poorly trained in customer service and smoothie making. I walk in and the two workers are talking with there other two friends (that aren’t workers) no greet or anything. Then my little brother goes and tries to order his drink and the worker jokingly says “no”. But it wasn’t funny and nobody was laughing. Then after I receive my drinks I walk out and leave and try my smoothie and it’s probably the worst made smoothie I’ve had here. Not even drinkable because it’s so clumpy and the ingredients never got blended. Still have chunks of ice cubes and fruit. I’ve had nothing but good smoothies at this location but this time was horrible.
I’ve never been picky about smoothies before but these were so bad my wife and I tossed them in the garbage after just a few sips. How can fresh fruit and veggies be bad? Let me answer this for you: it’s not fresh and it’s loaded with added sugars. Turns out their website says it had 61g of added sugars from Splenda.
We asked if her drink contained milk due to a dairy allergy. The woman working told us no. However, upon reviewing the website they write in big bold letters that anything they have can be cross contaminated with dairy, seafood, nuts and a litany of other potential allergens. Train your people.
Go to tropical smoothie cafe if you want a fake smoothie that will poison your body with excessive added sweeteners.
