My wife and I decided to try Wok On Fire during her lunch break for a little lunch date today. We were apprehensive at first due to some of the reviews, but We are extremely glad that we gave it a try!

First, a few other reviews mentioned the service negatively. I can say with certainty that we experienced absolutely wonderful service. Our waiter was extremely kind and also made sure to get our order correct and check on us.

Second, the food. We ordered Szechuan Chicken Momos for our appetizer. These things were delicious! They were very light and the right kind of chewy. They also had the perfect zing of the Szechuan peppercorn and a good spiciness that followed. Overall, these things were amazing!

My Wife and I both did the Chicken Lunch Special. I got Szechuan Chicken and she got Thai Curry Chicken. Both dishes came with either fried rice or noodles and salad. My dish was very flavorful and carried the Szechuan spice so well. The chicken was tender and flavorful as well. Her Thai Curry dish was also amazing, with just the right sweetness and savory notes. The side salad that came with the dish was also phenomenal.

Overall, We loved the service and the food here and we will most definitely be back!

Very very disappointing experience with this restaurant for Friday lunch, literally name should have been wok NO FIRE. Went with a team, everyone veg and non-veg all are not satisfied with the food. Starters are prepacked frozen food but atleast they could have reheated them properly before serving not sure if someone needs to tell them even that and main course is also worse, mostly they would have prepared for a week or long and keep it and serve it on bowl when customer orders it. One more request to owner, be yourself as a customer and see the price of each item and the food you received both quality and taste then you will realize whether the price is really matching with the food being served !!

Staff was rude. Food tasted average and prices are just too high for an average tasting food

We dined in at Wok On Fire recently and our experience was impeccable. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibe of the place was warm and inviting. The menu had a great mix of options, and everything we tried was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The food came out looking amazing and tasted even better. Service was quick and attentive without being too much, which made the whole night really enjoyable. We were a big group of about 20 people and they accommodated us very well. Thank you!

Ordered the Hakka Noodles with high expectations, but the chicken tasted stale and seemed old enough to cause a stomach ache. I almost had to throw it away

We had a great time with family from out of town. Seviton’s service was impeccable and his suggestions were to the point. He went over and beyond and was very attentive to everyone. Highly recommended.

Wok on Fire NEVER disappoints! Quick friendly service and flavorful delicious food. Their starters should not be missed! Drums of heaven and black pepper chicken are toh notch, we do not let even a piece of onion go to waste. Schezun noodles were nicely flavored and not just spicy. Our go to place for Indo-Chinese food!

We came with family here. Kids food we ordered mild and it was perfectly made. They give good quality that a family can share. We ordered chicken dish and veg dish and everything came out perfectly as we expected. Sevtion was our server and his service was excellent.

Ordered the chicken Manchurian and thai green curry.
Curry was very thin and sweet, we ordered it spicy. The chicken in it was flavorless and dry. Manchurian was flavorless minus the cilantro. Chicken was also flavorless. We tried a couple of bites, then sat around waiting for at least ten minutes for someone to come by our table. They came by and asked if we wanted a box, despite the food being hardly touched.
We were still charged for one plate, despite taking a couple of bites (maximum), and ultimately disliking both plates. They offered to remake the plates, but after sitting for over ten minutes and seeing how dry and flavorless the chicken was, the appetite was gone.
If you’re looking for flavor, I wouldn’t personally recommend.

Last Thursday we had take out from Wok on Fire. The items we ordered were sweet corn soup chicken, burnt garlic chicken fried rice, drums of heaven, cauliflower manchurian, Thai green curry chicken and Singapore noodles. I found Thai green curry chicken a bit bland. The rest of the items were very delicious. I would like to try other items in future.

ABSOLUTELY WORST SERVICE AND EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL STAFF! Their staff definitely needs training in mannerisms! I had a sleeping baby in a stroller and I had two staff members tell me my stroller was blocking the other table EVEN THOUGH THE WHOLE RESTAURANT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY! When i stated i will move it if another customer came I had another member come up and state it is restaurant policy to move stroller if it is blocking another table. THERE WERE 15 EMPTY TABLES! Only 1 other family was there! THE REPEATED DISRESPECT AND REGARD FOR A FAMILY WITH A BABY WAS MIND BOGGLING TO ME! And the staff was just flat out RUDE!
I will never ever dine at a place that treats a family with such disregard! INSANE!
When asked to speak to a manager all employees just looked around and no one said anything! Disgusting behavior!

So let’s be honest the restaurant main thing is their food. And when it comes to food, they make some of the best Indo-Chinese food in the Raleigh area. However, the service is a little bit lackluster because there’s not much communication between our table and the waiter however I have noticed in the past three times I’ve been that it has been improving. As for the atmosphere, it has been very unique as the restaurants interior is very nice. I don’t think there there’s another restaurant in the RTP that is similar or like this restaurant. A real jewel in the RTP

We visited there first time for our anniversary lunch date. There were variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian menu. We had crispy corn, noodles with chicken and shrimp. Taste of food was really great. One thing I noticed that food had so much oil but I didn’t mind that as it was so tasty. I recommend this place for special occasions too.
