Absolutely excellent service from the staff ! The food was outstanding!! I would give them a ten star if possible.. best burger we have had in Catawba County. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. It's for all families and Get together with friends.

Let me start by saying GREAT customer service! Staff is so friendly and take great care of their customers. Food is fantastic! The burgers are on point cooked to perfection, It’s my go to when I want a great burger! Also the crab chips and beer cheese is a must try.

Pops is one of the best local establishments around! Their drink selection is unmatched. If you want it, they've got it. The burgers and pub chips are outstanding! I will be back =)

This was my favorite place we ate at during a recent visit to the Lake Norman area. It’s located in a cute historic catawba district and the restaurant itself is full of old world charm (and kitschy signs). They had live music playing, the service came right over to great us and share menus. They offer a decent variety of (good & cold) local beers, the food was great (mac & cheese was delish)& the staff were friendly. 10/10 recommend hitting up this spot if you’re in the area & I’ll be back on my next visit.

Missing seeing Pops.

I really wanted to give this place a 5-star review. Their hamburger and fries (which had a unique flavor to them) were incredible, but once I saw and tried their pizza, there was no way I could. It tastes and looks like a Digiorno pizza, or they figured out a way to recreate the pizza from scratch. Still would recommend.

The best Italian sandwich and Brussel sprouts I’ve ever had!! Everyone is so nice there and I love the atmosphere! James is the BEST!!!!

Great local pub! They have the best burgers in Catawba county. I hear the pizza is good too but every time I go I want one of those thick juicy burgers!

Beer tap selection is very limited. No much of a local selection.

How have I lived up this way for 6 years and never been in here before tonight. The ladies were great, the food was great, the atmosphere excellent, the singer was great I can’t find a single thing to complain about other than I should have come with a much bigger appetite because that burger was awesome and I forced it down, wasn’t wasting such a good burger like that. Seriously worth the stop in. Catawba the town is a true NC hidden gem!!

We LOVE pops tavern. My fave is the club with tavern chips, the cheese curds, and my husband loves the Philly! The food is amazing, atmosphere is like an old pub, and the prices are great! We can both get dinner plus an app for about 30!
