The Cedar Stump Pub - Catawba

Good food, good service. Entrees were $13-$18 for what we got. Live music on Saturday night. We enjoyed it. It's a smaller place, plenty of personality. Not the standard Corporate place. We loved that. Local farm supply. A small business supporting other small businesses. We'll be back! We had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, The West Side Burger, Fried Pickles, & Kids Chicken Tenders in the Cajun seasoning. All good. Everyone was full and we brought home fries, onion rings, & fried pickles. The portions were generous!

The food was great. The prices seemed a little high... and then they brought the plates. You better bring an appetite when you visit here! We will visit again.

First time here. April was fantastic. She was Friendly and enthusiastic. Just a great experience adding to the character and feel of this place. I had the Mango bird and my wife had the balsamic chicken with onion rings. Both were good with balanced flavor. The onion rings were very tasty and I could have eaten another basket of them. They are definitely fresh not dropped from a bag. Cedar stump actually makes their food on site and you can tell. I've got the burgers on my mind for next time because I suspect they will not disappoint. The Cedar Stump,at first glance, feels like you walked into the local watering hole/country bar vibe but I think it's really just a down home, local restaurant serving good food and not trying to be pretentious. It's refreshing. Looking forward to getting back there.

Top Notch, best Gluten Free burger ever. The bun is absolutely amazing. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will be back for sure!

Very nice place. I went for lunch and drinks so it wasn't very busy. Which is what I really like. The employees were very nice and filled with lots of information about the area.
