Comfort Food Haven:We stopped on a road trip without knowing anything about this place. Don't let appearances fool you! It may look like a small place without many customers, but a great deal of their business is carry out where people either walk to it or just stop long enough to grab their order and go. We were concerned because we were the only customers there.... until we tasted the food. I haven't had mac & cheese or green beans that good since I lost my mother. We ordered extra to take home. The hamburger was great, too! It was all scrupulously clean and pretty much a 1 woman show. Great experience!

The first time we stopped it it was late she was getting ready to close and still cooked is some amazing burger burgers and fries. Stop did you get last night and got some of their Fried Chicken and it is absolutely to die for Mackenzie is an awesome host and cook.

If you have not stopped to try the lovely Comilla McKenzie’s food, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Their burgers are cooked to perfection with any topping you want— the fries are HOT and fresh, and the chicken— oh my lanta,,, the chicken is to die for!! The tea tasted super fresh even though it was about 4:30pm upon arrival, (which is rare for any restaurant to have fresh tea at this time speaking from experience) and the yams couldn’t have been better! Don’t be put off by the store’s appearance— the food is the real reason anyone eats and I promise you it will beat whatever expectations you have!! 10/10!!
