This place is heavily dependent on how many people are eating at the restaurant.
Ive gone twice where unfortunately we're the only ones in the place and the dried old pizza reflects that. However, if you when there are at least a few other tables, the pizza is REALLY good honestly. If they could keep at least one or two fresh pizzas on the buffet, even if you're the only table, I'd probably bring my family of 5 here more often.

Calling this pizza is a complete joke. It’s pathetically bad. I’m ashamed that it’s even in our town where Papas Pizza once was. The best thing they have going for them is the ooey gooey cinnamon & cinnamon Stromboli desert pies. Salad bar is pathetic. They had some potatoes that were like concrete. Spaghetti was slimey as hell. It’s just nothing good about the pizza. Total garbage

Looking for a Pizza Inn on our way back from Virginia, we found a new one listed in Cherryville, and stopped in. We were greeted by very friendly staff into an immaculate space. A large spacious dining area with lots of tables and booths. A range of pizza on the bar, with any we would like to be made on request. Those we chose were delicious, well made and cooked perfectly. The salad bar was fresh and very, very clean with a wide selection of vegetables and dressings. We enjoyed our meal and will be going back.

It's a Pizza Inn. The buffet was loaded and the salad bar was just as I expected. Much better than the place that used to be there.

Got the Spaghetti Deluxe. The noodles weren't overcooked, the sauce and meatballs had a good flavor. The garlic rolls were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly. Overall a positive experience and I plan on going here for baked spaghetti from now on.

We went on a Tuesday around 5:30. We put a wing order in with the drink order, but the wings never even came out. The waitress was quite rude and petty.Guess she was preoccupied making snide remarks about it being seniors day to remember to put the wing order in. All the employees stood at the back corner staring and carrying on like they were in school. Mind you no other patrons are even in this place but me and my son. There was a crap ton of employees and their friends coming in and out to hang in the corner. The tea was sour but they tried to mask it with extra sugar. The pizza was rock hard and the toppings dried out from numerous reheating. The salad bar was the only thing worth eating. Oh yeah, even after her snide remark- I didn't even get the senior discount. Highly do not recommend the Cherryville location, make the drive to somewhere else.

Bad food. Don't recommend. There's a Pizza Inn in Lincolnton that I love, so I was very excited to have one closer. But this was a very bad experience. First, the workers didn't seem to know what to do. We had ordered online and they had to figure it out. They were also not very friendly. Second, the pizza was cold. We got it back home within 30 mins of ordering it, and it was so cold we had to heat it up in the oven. Third, the pizza was cut very badly and uneven. Finally, both our stomachs started hurting that night and continued the next day. My friend had also gotten the buffet previously, and said it tore her stomach up too. So something is wrong with the food. Won't be returning until I hear of serious changes. Don't recommend.

Bad experience! Flies EVERYWHERE! Made a salad and as I was taking my second bite, a fly flew right out of my salad. Flies were all on the pizza bar. When mentioned the fly coming out my salad, the response I received “Were trying to keep them down.” Me and my family left immediately! The waiter was scratching his stomach under his shirt and had the nerve to make our drink! Unsanitary!

The food wasn’t that good and the waiter can’t even give you a refill.
We went there before the lunch crowd and it was a Thursday, this is Cherryville there is no where decent to eat so you can't go when everyone else does thats just the way restaurants are this day and time but especially buffets. The pizza was good way better than the other place that we had been to for 30 + years but it was sold and it went rock bottom we hadn't been to the old place in over a year. Pizza Inn is good in Lincolnton and the first time we tried this place it was good. Plenty of pizza and fresh pepperoni thin crust which is our favorite was available. I just hope it last usually after the honeymoon opening there is a risk it goes bad we will see with this one. I will update on the next visit they got to stay sharp to keep my business I am very picky about my pizza.

Was good, just wish my half a cup of tea wouldn't had been taken before I was done eating! Especially as I'm heavily pregnant, watched our waitress take drinks to other tables but didn't bring me mine back which kinda upset me. Bathroom is very dated, seemed clean but would be better if was updated, waitress was very kind though despite the drink situation.

If I could rate this place I would honestly give it a zero because the service was horrible. Only one lady in her 40s had the decency to be polite and apologize for their behavior! No manager on duty, no one seated had to ask is any one going to seat us....and the plates and silverware looked like they had never been cleaned! In knowing that this is the rush hour after church the place should be more prepared. Also, no one had cleaned the tables. Does their homes look like this??? Id be cautious about eating here. And the little skinny guy up front to busy smoking to get his job done up front and to busy on his phone to help manage the place. There is no order!
