We stopped at the French Express Coffee House in China Grove, NC on our way north from Charlotte and it was a complete let-down.
The Toffee Latte tasted like Keurig Coffee and was a disaster. The Mellow Mango smoothie tasted like mango with cough syrup, not recommended at all. The muffins we got—banana nut and cranberry tasted stale as well.
They’ve the drive through option which we opted for. If you skip the drive through and opt for the in store shopping option, it’ll be quicker.
I won’t recommend this coffee shop.

I always enjoy coming here when I’m in the area. I pulled up today at 6:00, as my Apple Maps said that the store closed at 7. I pulled up to the window and the barista said they were closed.
I submitted a request on the Apple Maps for the hours to be updated.

Second coffee on this Sunday morning when I landed in this cute local coffee shop. A friendly place and a bunch of regulars who have no problem having shade thrown at them by the owner. It was fun to watch.
Wifi worked well while I sat here with my latte for an hour and my laptop.
They do have a drive through but you'll be missing out.
Vegetarian options: They have some dairy alternatives for coffee.
Dietary restrictions: Ask about allergens.
Parking: They have a parking lot but it's not very large.

I had a red eye and lemon scone. I didn't plan on the scone, but I'm glad I got it. It was delicious. The coffee was great too. I got exactly what I asked for. The baristas were friendly and helpful. And for the amount you get, the price is fantastic! If you're in the area stop by and give it a try. Don't just take my word for it.
