We will not be returning. The food was awful. It was tasteless and flavorless. The BBQ Pork Sandwich tasted like unflavored mush, with no smoky flavor or taste. The Brunswick Stew was mostly a tomatoey broth that was flavorless and tasteless. Service was okay. Atmosphere okay. The ladies' bathroom needed to be cleaned. The toilet didn't flush, the room smelled, and the trash can needed to be emptied. We wasted our hard-earned money on $32 worth of crap that we didn't bother to eat.

Worst experience EVER! Food wasn't even good for a knock off kraft Mac&cheese and BBQ. I hear coughing coming from the grill and there grill guy is coughing in his hand and over the food then proceeded to rub his nose you could hear the snot and then he touched the food no gloves and then he saw me looking and put gloves on.

Went to Gary’s last week with my husband and the food and our server were great BUT as we sat by the bar and kitchen, we overheard 3 servers talking and making fun of a client that placed a togo order that had a speech impediment. They were mocking her stutter and saying “take me off speaker if you are going to stutter. Like just spspspsp, spit it out.” I am VERY disappointed and sadden because I’ve grown up coming to Gary’s and never heard such rudeness. Hopefully they realized this was out of the ladies control and to be kind.

This place is pretty bad, honestly. I spent over $150, but I ordered like everything on the menu so maybe it’s my fault. The food was trash, but the lights? Kinda cool. And the signs? Also cool, like funny or whatever. So yeah, food sucked but the lights were neat. Wouldn’t come back for the food, but the lights are cool, lol.

Me,my husband and two year old son had dinner (12/14/24). I normally get the small BBQ tray with fries instead of slaw. My BBQ is always slightly cold. The main reason i am leaving a review is i heard there is a new owner and they seemed to jacked the prices up. The bill was higher than expected. We were in shock when we got to the register. The other reason I am leaving a review is because i got sick after leaving there. It was my BBQ…. Probably wont be coming back or not as often.

First time in about 30 years that I have been there, but the food is still good, and the curb service is even faster than ever!! I got my food in about three minutes flat!! They have dine in as well, but great place to drop in if you're In a hurry!
Kraft Mac and cheese as a side. Dry pulled pork with 1oz containers for sauce. Overcooked hush puppies. Easily the most disappointed I’ve been in a place after having it be talked up in the area. The service was also really bad, i tried asking questions about the menu for recommendations and didn’t get much enthusiastic feedback. Granted with what they’re serving I guess it’s hard to be enthusiastic. I’ve expected much better taste from local, not high school lunch tray food.
Also a very strange atmosphere, cash only with no digital pay options whatsoever, no modern take out options through delivery apps, etc.
Incredibly disappointed and I will not be returning. I recommend newer residents in the area to try elsewhere.
