No Way Jose's Mexican Restaurant

The guy taking to-go orders complained to me that my order was too complicated. He was cutting me off every time I would try to explain my order. Had an attitude the whole time. Place sucks. Wouldn’t recommend

We were a family of four waiting and apparently in the way at the door. Not sure how you thought we were a take out order. But thank you for your apologies /s

I’ve had my eye on No Way Jose’s for a while and really wanted to support a local small business. Unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired.

When my party of four arrived, we saw a sign on the door that said “Please wait to be seated”—so we did. But as we stood there waiting, at least seven different staff members either walked by us or looked directly at us without acknowledging us at all. A few even acted like we were in their way and seemed visibly annoyed.

After more than 10 minutes of standing there without a single greeting or sign of service, my son finally asked a man in a red shirt behind the counter if we should seat ourselves. His short reply was, “You wait.” And still, no one came over to help us.

If this is the level of attention and care shown to customers right in the dining area, I can only imagine how things are handled behind the scenes in the kitchen. Sadly, we ended up leaving without ever being seated.

I always want to support local spots, but customer service has to be part of the experience. I truly hope they improve in the future.

$16 bucks for 3 carne asada tacos. Plus they just seem a little rude and Hasty. Not really any customer service or anyone to make you feel welcome. Guess I'll just have to go to the Hispanic place I've been going to in Mooresville for years. To get the same tasting tacos. Because 3 taco's in Mooresville would have never been $16. Plus they are very much nicer and welcoming to customers in the place I go to in Mooresville.

Update: I was charged $16 for 3 taco's added cheese. No drink. 3 taco's were $16 dollars is what I was charged. No plate just the taco's.

Terrible service all the way from going online trying to make reservations for my wife’s bday and been re routed to call the restaurant. Call the restaurant spoke to someone one and asked to make reservations and was told no and hang up try calling back multiple times and no answer. Once arrived and got seated I spoke to the manager as she was polite and apologized for the missed behavior over the phone. After having a poor service by our waitress as he didn’t want to be serving us I wanted to purchase a tshirt and was told they don’t sale black ones as they had them on display so I waited to maybe get a different color and no assistance as I was left behind by the manager herself waiting to be assisted. I have been a come back customer over the years we come to gatlinburg and this experience won’t make me come back!

The food is good, the service however is NOT pleasant. They are rude and never smile and through food on the table and walk off. Been here several times and it's always the same way.

I have been to this location 3 times now. First was solid, service was good and food was tasty, which made me inclined to go back. 2nd time I went, I was finished with my meal for 15 minutes and with an empty drink and had to flag down another waitress for my check . Well this last time, before I even sit down, the server asks what I’d like to drink, and I let him know I’d like a mic ultra on draft, to which he asked what size and I told him, and the drink never came! Wasn’t on my tab thankfully but like really? Very dissatisfied to say the least.

No way joses is a cool spot to come to. The owner is always in the kitchen, you never get a new guy whos not up to par. His wife provides a thoughtful service, very local family friend environment. 10/10 very lovely people and spot. The food is always good.

I love this place, and I frequent it. It can get BUSY! The good is great and the staff are friendly. I've not had a bad experience. Portions are more than fair, and prices are good. They are also super friendly to my kids too. I have eaten there and taken it home before. I've had several things on the menu and have yet to find something I don't like.
