Great place to eat

At one time Bojangles really was top of its market, not anymore. Pulled into the Chocowinity, NC location on 02/16/2025 at 11:26 AM. Placed an order for ONLY chicken, was told 15 minutes, so cool. Pulled forward, paid for the chicken and was instructed to park and the chicken would be right out at 11:28. At 12:00, 32 minutes later, we made a call into the restaurant and was "greeted" by what I can only explain or describe as the main individual that has NO BUSINESS answering the phone or communicating with the public at this location. Without question the rudest individual, who preceded to tell me they were under staffed, that the chicken was being dropped. For me to make any kind of ATTEMPT to express the lack of professionalism, our disappointment and the level of rudeness/dismissiveness would be impossible. Owner/Manager should take heed! Your overall, to my surprise, rating is a 3.5. Might want to be a little more involved in who or what you hire at your location.

They ran out of Bo rounds. Told me a 5 minute wait for them. Don't care for the fries very much.

Absolute slowest Bojangles I have ever been to. Not enough help. Lady asked for a bag in front of me for the 4 boxes of food she ordered and the employee handed her the bag instead of putting the boxes in there for her. There was 1 family in front of me when I arrived, their food took at least 10 minutes. Took over 10 minutes to get mine. I’m pretty sure they are either driving to the grocery store to get ingredients for each individual order, or they are butchering chickens in the back, picking the wheat and processing it to make the flour in order to make biscuits. Do NOT eat here unless you plan on making it a day trip!

Terrible customer service! Since I ordered a twenty piece, I knew it would take longer than a normal order. After twenty minutes I asked about the progress of my order. I was informed they were just dropping the chicken in the fryer! WHAT?? Apparently not everyone who works at Bojangles is QUALIFIED to fry chicken. Again, WHAT?? After half an hour I asked for my money back and left.

My experience in the drive through today was pretty crazy. I ordered a chicken and rice bowl with a large Dr. P and nobody was in line in the drive through when I pulled in. When I got up to pay the lady rudely told me they didn’t have any rice so did I want something else. So I ordered another meal with a large Dr. P. I wasn’t told until I got to the food window that they didn’t have Dr. P. And I asked what drinks they did have and the young lady with long box braids with the grey glasses on said (extremely attitude-y) that they had Pepsi products. And gave me -2. Seconds before I could get anything out of my mouth (again extremely bothered that I was taking too long) what I wanted. When I told her that she didn’t have to be a smart ass to me and that Mountain Dew was fine, she came back at me through the window yelling she wasn’t a smart ass and slammed the window in my face. Just wanted people aware of how you could be treated going to this location.

If you have a big order and even order ahead to help out the staff please still be prepared to wait 45 minutes for your food, and also for them to have absolutely no care for your time. The staff that waited on me could not have cared less about me as a customer and when I asked for a time frame on the food did not even want to give me one.

They never have enough employees up front. It's usually one person having to do everything. Something is left out of my bag more often than not. Over half the time, the food is either raw or overcooked. The picture is SUPPOSED to be a piece of biscuit. It's pure dough.

I wish I could give this bojangles location negative stars. EVERY time it is an almost hour long experience just to get food. Employees could care less about how long it takes for you to get your food. Might as well go thru the drive thru and be able to sit down to get your food because if you go inside you’ll be on your feet waiting so long your feet will start hurting.

Last several times my family has been here, There's always a wait. This morning we were told it would be a 6 min wait for supremes. This 6 min turned literally into 24 and we had go inside and ask for our food. There were only 3 people that came through while we were there so not too busy!
None of the staff at this location or the one in Washington have any since of urgency!

This Bojangles never gets your order right. Chicken/no biscuits, sweet tea/no suger , soda/no carbonation, fries/ no salt........ never not even once have I got my complete order, or correct order.

The drive thru is VERY slow, took at least 20 minutes to get to the window to pay. Then I was told to pull up to wait on my food, so I did. I waited for at least 15-20 mins and I realized everyone else in the drive thru was getting their food so I decided to go in. Turns out that they forgot I was pulled up and my food was just out sitting and ready but, no one brought it out to me (this isn't the first time that happened). Everyone was moving at snail pace with no sense of urgency so its not all that shocking why it takes forever to get your food/order. Oh, and be sure to check your food before you leave!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! The line takes forever and when we get to the window they’re just sitting around talking. They also get orders wrong almost all the time. Their sweet teas terrible by the way. And they’re always out of something basic- like chicken- which happens all the time!!! Be sure to double check your food!!!

I don't eat out often as I am a chef, prefer cooking at home. However that wasn't in the cards this afternoon as the electric went out due to the poor weather. Needless to say we order online and when I picked it up the food was wrong and food was missing. I have infant twins so I do not have time to run in and out and keep going through the drive thru hoping this time it's correct. So believe me when I say will go to the Bojangles in Greenville before I order from this one anytime soon. The crew was unorganized, I was one of three unhappy guests. I seen one guy pull the manager outside to talk. If the leader cannot lead than the crew is doomed. Hopefully you guys will retrain your staff or restaff appropriately! But either way you will not have our business anytime soon, this was utterly disappointing. It really shows when people don't care for their job. EVERY JOB IS IMPORTANT!
