This place is not your typical Tavern there are no Wings or your typical Tavern fair. The service was top notch, but the food was just okay. I ordered a Goat Cheese Burger medium rare and it came out well done, how hard is it to do a Burger the way the customer wants it. The Chicken sandwich was dry. The Pasta dish was the only thing that looked and tasted good. Be ware they charge a 3% surcharge even if you pay cash. They say it is to keep the price of food down but how stupid do they think we are. It is still an increase in price just hidden as a surcharge. Won’t be back to this place

Great food! The menu has something for everyone. The dishes are more in line with fine dining than tavern food. I had the stuffed flounder, it was stuffed with crab and had a scampi cream sauce with tomatoes, spinach, and salted shrimp served over fresh asparagus. Excellent!

I would have given them 5 stars for the food... But the purpose of my review is to leave some critical feedback. The food is excellent... But it would be so much better if you had pepper grinders instead of pre-ground black pepper. It's the only way you should eat it in my opinion.

We stopped in for dinner. We started with the lobster nachos (highly recommend). I ordered the domo Brighton (pictured) and my husband got the fried seafood dish (the name escapes me). Both dishes were HUGE portions. Everything came out fresh and timely. Food was well seasoned and very tasty. We ended our meal by sharing the tavern brownie which was absolutely sinful. I cant wait to go back to try their other dishes. I can absolutely see why they were so busy!

Food was not good yesterday. I am a throat cancer survivor and picky about where and what I eat. My husband's meal wasn't good either. I got the ckn alfredo and so salty I couldn't eat. My husband tried a new dish with steak and shrimp. Was suppose to be filet but was sirloin. He tried to contact but no answer.

Everything was ok until the bill came. They had added an up charge with no prior notification. When we ask the server what the charge was for, he had no idea. He had to get the manager. Instead of having to reprint corrections on the menu they just made adjustments. The manager stated it was for increase in food cost. Why does the server not know this? The up-charge was not huge but it was the principal. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not return any time soon.

Steak was overcooked, dry, no flavour just like a shoe…. Frech fries were not tasty. Kids cheeseburger were dry, no ketchup or mayo on it, even no tomato or lettuce. Fish was very well and Chicken Wrap was ok. After all they asked us for a box very early during the dinner.

My friend and I enjoyed our experience at 2520 Tavern. I ordered the chicken and broccoli alfredo and it was good. The ambience was nice and calm. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall a nice experience.
