This place is not your typical Tavern there are no Wings or your typical Tavern fair. The service was top notch, but the food was just okay. I ordered a Goat Cheese Burger medium rare and it came out well done, how hard is it to do a Burger the way the customer wants it. The Chicken sandwich was dry. The Pasta dish was the only thing that looked and tasted good. Be ware they charge a 3% surcharge even if you pay cash. They say it is to keep the price of food down but how stupid...
Great food! The menu has something for everyone. The dishes are more in line with fine dining than tavern food. I had the stuffed flounder, it was stuffed with crab and had a scampi cream sauce with tomatoes, spinach, and salted shrimp served over fresh asparagus. Excellent!
I would have given them 5 stars for the food... But the purpose of my review is to leave some critical feedback. The food is excellent... But it would be so much better if you had pepper grinders instead of pre-ground black pepper. It's the only way you should eat it in my opinion.
