I normally LOVE this place!!!! I am even more excited they are coming to Kernersville, NC. But today...they really disappointed me. I sent my daughter to pick up a meal. I think someone had a heavy hand and dumped a bucket of salt in the Jalapeno Holly salad today! Shew! So bad, I couldn't eat it. Maybe tomorrow will be different. Does anyone taste test before serving?!

This place is really growing on me! I've heard so much about Chicken Salad Chick that my expectations were really high. Yes, the chicken salad is really good! Not great but really good. I prefer my chicken salad with bigger chunks of chicken and not so finely shredded, but the tastes on some of the different salads are really good. Their classic version is pretty good, nothing very special to write home about. The Olivia's Old South version with sweet relish and eggs is much tastier; the chicken salad flavor I'm accustomed to. But the Fancy Nancy with fuji apples, grapes and pecans, and the Kickin Kay Lynne are both delicious! Great options for sweet and spicy versions. The Jalapeno Holly has potential, but I wish it had a little more heat. The flavor of jalapeno is there, but they are diced so finely, you can't really taste them. You certainly can't see them, and I wondered if they gave me the wrong thing. But the flavor is kinda there... like they use jalapeno juice instead. Nonetheless, I love that they have such a diverse array of flavors, sweet, savory, spicy, and classic. But, let me declare, their strawberry lemonade is ALL THAT!!!! Absolutely addictive, rivaling Chick-fil-A's frozen lemonade. You can taste little pieces of fresh strawberry, not fake strawberry flavor. I will frequent this place for the lemonade alone! On the flip side, the little iced cookie they give with each meal is probably one of the worst things I've ever eaten, and is an insult to cookies everywhere! Please rethink this -- it's not the way to end a good meal. This is what you might give your children to punish them! They'll never ask for cookies again.

What a cute place! I have been here several times, and it's just a small and relaxing place to grab lunch. I love all the options of chicken salad. I love the grape salad and broccoli salad, and their potatoe soup is the best I have ever had. Love that the meals come with a free sugar cookie!

First of all, Chicken Salad Chick has been our favorite for the last several years. Mainly from the Concord area near the mall. We happen to be in Clemmons and got the Classic Carol and regular pimento cheese. I have to say I was very disappointed as the chicken salad was fairly ok but nothing like you would come to expect. The pimento cheese was the bad part, it was nothing short of not able to eat. We ended up throwing it away because the taste was just something different and almost like a stale taste which we both thought was unusual. We never visited this location before so don't know if it's just them or the product. Unfortunately we will stick with what we know and it's made to a great quality. Hope the poorness of the quality doesn't spread to our home area.: (

Excellent food, excellent service and a super cute atmosphere. Everyone is very laid back and helpful, and the restaurant itself is so clean and the decor charming as all get out.Highly recommend the pumpkin cheesecake if they have it. The Jalapeno Holly chicken salad is my personal fave: it has a nice little kick but nothing too overwhelming. Get it as a croissant! Also: the baked potato soup is stellar.
