Newport News store. Wife and I are out on a date night and go to the drive thru for milkshakes. Listening to the voice a guy is taking my order and after mentioning the first item he stops and says is that all. Basically I’m interrupted then a lady takes over so I start the order from scratch and she to interrupts me before I can even finish mentioning the first item so again I start the ordering from scratch and I ask her to let me finish speaking and wouldn’t let me. I did make it known by changing the tone of my voice that I was not happy with her interrupting me. Also they must have done something with their headsets while I was at the order screen because a loud noise came from the ordering screen and now I have pain in my left ear because the noise was too loud. As we proceeded to the window we picked up our milkshakes and paid for them. We were only given straws and no spoons for our milkshakes. Not sure if it was deliberate or if the store was out of stock on spoons but that made our date night less enjoyable since we had to use our straws as spoons on fresh frozen milkshakes. Il still go to cookout but not the Newport News location until the female employee improves her attitude towards customers.

I've just moved to the Florence Al area. and for some disgusting reason this store thinks it's funny to fly the American flag upside down. I find that offensive to our public servants and service members both active and retired. What's worse is that I contacted corporate and nothing has been done.

Went for lunch today. Not busy, 3 customers inside, 4-5 in drive through. We were ignored for several minutes before being acknowledged. Order was delivered including a white twist tie in the burger! Took it back to cashier…. Said “it will be a few minutes”. Brought burger to table.. “ here you are”! No apology, nothing!
Will not be back!

Normally love cookout but this time I was the only one in line and rhe food was under cooked and was only giving 2 onion ring when ordered as a side , also got a quesadilla that was completely cold and not melted , and half my plate with melted with greece

I always get the same thing. Bacon ranch wraps. But tonight i got 3, and 2 out of 3 sucked. The bacon was RAW. I can’t believe people actually serve this kind of food….

I would definitely recommend this place cause their cheese burgers are so dang delicious and when i come back to visit i would be pulling up at their window to..
Nothing like working all day and wanting lunch or dinner just so you can pay upcharges for things that never make their way to your meal. Learn what veggies are or take them off the menu. I could order a kids meal if all I wanted was bread.

The food tasted good. You could just tell the people were new and weren't properly trained. They were very kind and you could tell they were doing their best. But my peach cobbler milkshake had full size non cut peaches and it didn't have all of the ingredients. Usually it has the peaches but up and spread throughout and it has the crunchy sweet stuff mixed in it, idk what it is... It still tastes okay but I was really looking forward to the right thing. Please do a better job reaching these kids.

Everytime I come to this place, they get my order wrong. I asked for onion rings, but they gave me fries. They need to get it right at this cookout, or I'll spend my money at the Winston location. So tighten up.

Went to this new CookOut 2 weeks ago and was given the wrong milkshake. Mistakes happen. Went today and got a burnt hamburger, one napkin and no ketchup I asked for. Tomatoes are so thin you can’t taste them. Won’t be back, sadly, as they have great milkshakes.
