My burger was completely missing the burger patty. I have made comments before about this specific location (Clemmons) consistently messing up our orders. Nothing has changed. I have never made a Google review, but this will be my first. I’m so disappointed in the lack of care and responsibility Cookout has. As a restaurant server, I understand mistakes here and there, but this has gone beyond that. We’re giving up on Cookout and taking our business elsewhere since you are consistently inconsistent.

If you are only taking drive thru orders, you should put a closed sign on the window instead of ignoring me for 15..29 minutes. I won't be cookout anymore since I don't like to be ignored. You didn't even look my way. Just kept taking drive thru orders after drive thru until I just left.

My family and I went to the elkin nc location tonight, i ordered a bacon cheeseburger tray and i got almost all the way through eating my burger and realized i was chewing something hard that wasn’t bacon. IT WAS A BREAD TIE. a bread tie in my mouth mixed in my burger. that is absolutely disgusting and HUGE safety issue. I also normally give the last couple of bites to my dog THANK GOD i didn’t tonight.

stopped at this cookout passing through Clemmons, and I ordered a cheddar style trey and received a cookout style. I should’ve checked my bag before I left anyways because the lady at the window didn’t even look like she wanted to be there.

It was amazing and everybody was super kind, the person taking my order was really nice and he was a great helping hand he even told us to try the cookout sauce it was amazing I asked him for his name, his name was Mo the food was amazing I ate it in 2 minutes and my order came in less than a minute everything was amazing I definitely recommend

Well, first off let me start by saying the food was hot and absolutely delicious. Backtracking a little bit I was visiting Winston-Salem in August 2025 and ate at this restaurant and got hot and delicious food but not everything I ordered Fast forward to today, January 6, 2026, the food was hot and delicious, but I didn’t get what I ordered. I will parrot the comments of others who say check your order carefully.

Newport News store. Wife and I are out on a date night and go to the drive thru for milkshakes. Listening to the voice a guy is taking my order and after mentioning the first item he stops and says is that all. Basically I’m interrupted then a lady takes over so I start the order from scratch and she to interrupts me before I can even finish mentioning the first item so again I start the ordering from scratch and I ask her to let me finish speaking and wouldn’t let me. I did make it known by changing the tone of my voice that I was not happy with her interrupting me. Also they must have done something with their headsets while I was at the order screen because a loud noise came from the ordering screen and now I have pain in my left ear because the noise was too loud. As we proceeded to the window we picked up our milkshakes and paid for them. We were only given straws and no spoons for our milkshakes. Not sure if it was deliberate or if the store was out of stock on spoons but that made our date night less enjoyable since we had to use our straws as spoons on fresh frozen milkshakes. Il still go to cookout but not the Newport News location until the female employee improves her attitude towards customers.

I've just moved to the Florence Al area. and for some disgusting reason this store thinks it's funny to fly the American flag upside down. I find that offensive to our public servants and service members both active and retired. What's worse is that I contacted corporate and nothing has been done.
