The food was great when it finally arrived, which was almost an hour to the minute from when we walked in. A party of 2, on an early weekday afternoon. Seriously, this location has gone downhill bad. My last two visits here have had incredibly long wait for the meal to be served. Both times I witnessed a different waitress almost visibly in tears. Which indicates they were at their wits end due to the failure of the management. IHOP really needs to fix this. It's that bad.

This was a weekday mid morning and the restaurant was not crowded; however no one was receiving any service due to only 1 server for the entire site. People were complaining to the manager, but she was rather rude. I overheard her tell 1 family that there was nothing she could do. It was not her fault people didn't come in to work. We were the 4th family to leave without anyone even asking for our drink order. We went down the road to Cracker Barrel and had a lovely breakfast. Very poor Customer Service on the part of IHop.

I wanted a good breakfast and you can not go wrong with IHOP. I order takeout and was able to get the special deal they were promoted. I loved how they separated the pancakes from the other food. it was delicious. location was clean and workers were pleasant.

I have eaten at the Clemmons location often, but today was not that day. The server finally took the order after having to wait over 10 minutes. She never came back after dropping off the food and then finally bringing the drinks. I had to chase the on call manager down to get a drink to go and my bill. It is definitely a roll of the dice with servers. The food was decent as usual.
Sa for over 30 minutes and no one came to our table. we walked out without even a sip of water or coffee.

What a change, years ago when we lived off Kinnamon the service was just ok, foods always consistent. Today ordered curb-side and even though some toppings got left off (stuff happens), I called and spoke with a very polite young lady who took time to correct things without rushing. Then, the manager Erika called me back! How often does that happen in this day and age. She also sounded young, but was apologetic and even offered to remake my waffle (we declined, too fat and don’t need extra). Boss wife picked up missing toppings on her way home and my breakfast sweet treat was turned into a waffle of legend. Even earlier when I picked it up the lady Gabrielle at register was nice. I hope our younger generation is bringing sexy niceness back!!!! Also I was pulling my dump trailer and backing along the side to run in. Could not see well, but a rando young guy with cool dreads backed me up. Youth giving me hope for our society today❤️. I need to start carrying cash and rewarding the kindness like I remember old people doing almost 50 years ago when I was little.
