I ordered the chicken hibachi dinner which came with carrots and white sauce (I think they call it shrimp sauce). My food was so good! I had leftovers for lunch the next day which is even better. I had never eaten here before so I was skeptical but glad I did. They were very busy as well which was a sign that their food is good. I definitely recommend.

Got 2 sushi rolls (came in 2 poor quality boxes) and teriyaki chicken and steak owner or Manger placed the heavier box on top sushi boxes they are thin. I got to drive and drove slower then speed limit and the boxes turned over spilling all of teriyaki chicken and steak all over my cars floor where it was sitting. I look and the white sauce had no lid either. I called and manager/owner told me to "uh you should drive slow and carefully" when packing yo go orders heavy items go on the bottom. Not on top of very light weight items. This is not the first time I have an issue as normally I ask for noodles and kept getting rice instead. I let that go. The place is run down and not very clean. And the fish never seems fresh. I will not be going back. I rather spend extra on good quality and good service at any other Japanese restaurants.

I wasn't crazy about the place. The meat didn't seem as cold as usual when it was served. I really wanted a California roll the way they make them in California (they mash up and mix the crab meet with mayo). I was able to find a Spicy Cali roll that's made that way at the other Kimono restaurant (NOTE: it's not the same chain!). Our server told me he would make me one like that, but I ended up with the California roll exactly like it is, just adding spicy mayo. It's just not the same :(. We thought the other Kimono is where we were going, but ended up here. We'll be making sure we end up at the right Kimono next time. Maybe their Chinese food is where it's at for this Kimono?

Kimonos of Clemmons is by far my favorite Kimonos location in the area. Tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, Kimonos is a quaint place to enjoy a meal.Every time we go in we are greeted and seated almost immediately & the food comes out quickly as well.My go to order is their hibachi chicken with veggies and fried rice. The chicken is always tender and I enjoy their sweet carrots that are put on the side.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. This is my favorite hibachi restaurant in the city. It is nothing flashy or over the top, but it is exactly what you want when you order some take out hibachi. If you decide to dine in the service has always been excellent. The inside of the restaurant shows it's age but it is just a nice little place to eat some hibachi. I will hopefully be eating here for another 15 years.

Me and my GF were the first 2 ppl in the restaurant. We was seated and then we placed our order. While patiently waiting my GF received her food first as I waited on mine I notice after ten minutes I still haven't received my meal, in which I started looking around to see what was taking so long with my food. I noticed the waiter at another table serving them their food and then he came to give me mine. I was confused to why he would give them their food first as we was in the restaurant first and my meal wasn't complicated at all. My entree was filet mignon with fried rice and broccoli. I have eaten filet plenty of times in my life and never have I eaten such tough steak. So when ordering Filet from this place is no more than a over cook sirloin steak with a lot of gristle.
