Ordered taco salad.. the meat was very salty and cold … I asked if chips and salsa came with it ??? Lady said yes .. when they brought out to me she said “oh no cause you order just one “ I would have ordered them had I not asked if they come with it !! I won’t go back !!

This place is horrible! Their food and service has drastically gone down over the years. They will try to over charge you if you’re not paying attention, this has happened to a few people that I know. Never thought I’d be leaving a bad review on a restaurant that my family and I have been going to for 10 years now. We use to do birthday celebrations here, and my youngest would even go around with the staff and sing happy birthday to other tables. They always treated us like family, but since getting new management things have dwindled and sadly we don’t come here anymore.

Good chips and salsa

I went to place a To-Go order at the Kernersville location. I ordered a guacamole regional and a large salsa but only got one bag of chips. When I asked for another bag the gentleman proceeded to argue with me and said the large salsa doesn’t typically come with chips.. he asked if I “understood” and I told him “No, I don’t understand. You want me to eat the salsa with a spoon?” He did end up giving me another bag and I thanked him, however he did not need to argue with me because I ordered the exact same thing before from the same guy and he had no issues giving me 2 bags last time. Also, if the large salsa doesn’t come with chips maybe next time inform the customer BEFORE they place their order that they will need to eat the salsa with a spoon…

We are a family of 4 with a preschooler and 1st grader. Decided to stop in for dinner while passing through on a road trip. Food was delicious and service was excellent. My husband got the Quesadilla California and I got the Combo Mexicanos. Both children got something off the children’s menu. Fair prices. We all left nice and full.

Kid-friendliness: Meals on Children’s menu were $5.

Food is great. Staff is great. I come here all of the time and love talking to one of the two hosts they usually have.

Sometimes I tip and sometimes I don’t (I usually do) on take out orders depending on how much money I’ve got and the size of the orders. I got an ACP and chips this time, didn’t tip and the manager proceeding to be very passive aggressive about it. Making crazy faces at my ticket, looking at me crazy, proceeded to make me wait to get my food even though it was ready and when the next two people (who dined in) paid in front of me he goes to tell them how great they are for tipping and how they’re good people.

I feel his behavior is incredibly inappropriate especially considering how often I come here and how many times I HAVE tipped for take out and how generous I am tipping when we eat in. (2-4 times a month since I’ve lived in Clemmons).

This is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is always excellent, and the wait staff are very attentive but not overwhelming. It is always a cheerful atmosphere.
