Edit: I originally gave this ice cream shop 1 star because of spam emails I was receiving after making a purchase here. After some investigation, this was not their fault and the blame lies more on the card processor. I was able to jump through some hoops and opt out of this third party sharing feature through the card processor. This is a new common practice and again, not Sam's fault.

Stumbled across this gem on a trip to visit friends in Winston-Salem. Pulled up not knowing exactly what to expect but came away with a fantastic experience. The employees were as friendly as could be and the selection of flavors was huge. We LOVED our ice cream, which we enjoyed while watching the sunset from the outdoor dining area. This place was just one of life’s amazing little surprises.

Had a wonderful experience at Sam’s this evening! Their variety is incredible! there is literally something there for everyone! And the quality of their ice cream and water ice is outstanding! Definitely check them out next time you’re craving something sweet! 💖

The boss was being very rude to his workers which was upsetting being they made very good ice cream and seemed to be trying their best. Won’t be coming here again I won’t support a business who treats their workers so poorly.

Good Ice cream but extremely slow service. Waited about 25 mins to have an interaction with an employee but still not be able to place an order as he returned to taking & making drive thru orders. Considered going through drive thru instead however it was 5-6 cars in line by that time. Went 8 mins up the street and received my ice cream in 3 mins. I think it’s diabolical to have 1 person working an ice cream shop on the brink of summer season
