Village Square Tap House

Came Friday at 7:30 for after dinner drinks w my husband. We have been coming for years- since before kids but now once in a while when we can get a sitter. Each got a beer. Walked around. He asked if I wanted to see the attached arcade bc I never had and I said sure. We walked in- browsed what was there, turned around to come back into the main bar where our tab was open and security stopped us asking us to pay. We said we already had drinks- he said yeah, but how long have you been here- we said maybe 1/2 hr, he said yeah you have to pay- maybe if you were here longer I wouldn’t ask. We were at a loss of words- he said are you staying for the band? I said I have no idea (I had no details of it at this time) I said we only have the babysitter for a little while. He said yeah, you need to pay. We saw them set up but left before the band played- I don’t appreciate being put in a position where I already purchased a beer and then was asked to purchase entry 1/2 hr later- so that I could get back to my own tab. Poor experience. Tacky. At that time it was maybe 8pm. Left around 9:20 band slotted for 9:30. We paid $10 to watch people set up a sound stage for two hours. I shouldn’t have had to do anything differently. This is either just a tacky policy or poor training. Maybe both.

Always a good time. Olivia, Lea, Ashley are all old friends. Fun place to just hang out shoot pool or play arcade games. Top Notch!

Fantastic place to go!

Just had the owner and his henchman pencil whip me out of 1,100 dollars. Not what I'd call good customer service.

Staff is very rude and made me want to leave as soon as I got there and had three bad experiences with three different staff members. One was the old brunette lady at the bar yelled in my face about not being able to have my outside soda in response to me trying to put in an order and completely ignored my order and told me the security guy shouldn't have even let me in with it. After that she completely ignores me. Both of the security guards were also rude and unpleasant as soon as I walked up asking questions about where im supposed to go. I will never be returning based off of this experience. Get better staff.

They will snake you if you don’t tell someone you’re playing on a table. The owner will charge you without saying a word. Very shady establishment.

Paid a $5 entry fee for a band that never played?? And then when people walked in while the band STILL wasn’t playing they kept making people pay $5 for the band!(band was supposed to start at 8, it was 9:30) FURTHERMORE if you got in for free before the band got there, then walked into the arcade area if it’s past 8:00 when you leave the arcade they make you pay a $5 entry fee again like you never walked into the building!
