Best bartender right thereDefinitely give the place a chance. As a new resident in NC I can say that's one bar that will be in my back pocket for as long as I am here.

I was out with friends and we ended up here to hang out and have some drinks. It was busy as it was a Saturday night. We paid the $5 cover since there was a band about to start. The service at the bar was quick especially since the place was packed. We made our way towards the back of the business to a vacant table by the dart boards. We played several rounds of darts and then onto shoot pool. Both the dart boards and pool tables were in very nice condition. The band playing was very good. They played a mix of 80's and 90's covers but had a kind of punk/alternative twist to it. The crowd was mixed with twenty somethings to probably mid 60's people. Overall a nice place to spend a Saturday night.

They don't have ICEHOUSE but they have PBR. What the French toast!? Your not getting 5 stars from me for that alone! Get me some freaking ICEHOUSE!Sometimes the bartendresses annoy me and sometimes I annoy them back so that's pretty cool. They ain't ugly either. Well they're not!!! They're quite an attractive group of fine young ladies with wonderful personalities. The only thing that can make any of them look better would be a ICEHOUSE in their hand and walking my way with a smile. Hell, I don't even care if it's a frown. Smiles are contagious and I guarantee you if they're walking my way with a ICEHOUSE I'll be smiling like a fat kid in a cake factory.
Let's talk about positives first. The beer selection suits me. I also like the general feel of the place; it's not stuffy at all.But it can get a little loud in here, more so than you'd expect from what I first expected to be a relaxed neighborhood bar. What's disappointing though is the service. Not that it's consistently bad, but it gets that way pretty frequently. I often feel forgotten about by the staff. And even when they are taking orders and such, the bartenders are lifeless and unwelcoming. A bar like this should be exactly the opposite, or so I expect. Would it hurt for the help to say a nice word or two, maybe even converse a little?So what could be a cool place to hang out is instead just a mediocre experience, and that's a shame.

This is a very good place to hang out with friends, shoot some pool, throw some darts, and listen to live music. Village Square is at a great location in Clemmons. The place is very clean and well-maintained. The bartenders and servers are very friendly and they have a large number of top-shelf beverage options. I am glad they have live bands indoors on a stage, rather than outside on a patio. I look forward to returning soon! I hope Southern Reload comes back too! Great sounding band.

The bar is an awesome atmosphere! Great games, live music, and drinks. The bartenders on the other hand... some of the rudest service I've ever encountered. I understand you get busy from time to time and that can impact your customer service- but EVERY time we go to this bar, the bartenders are extremely unfriendly and unpleasant. They do not speak to you, much less approach you with welcoming customer service. Long story short, I will not be back!
