The floors looked dirty and place needed to be updated. Food was good, but wasn't hot enough. The staff were friendly.

Employees are very friendly and courteous. Now on to the food, not so good! The last several times I've been I was not pleased at all with the items being served. Overcooked,even burnt at times..and maybe start wearing hair nets????????

Great food and service

I had the Dutch Broad Cafe cater a birthday party for my mother this past Saturday. This is my second time having them cater an event. Everything, once again, was spot on! Guests raved about their chicken salad and their bourbon peach meatballs! The sweet tea is very good as well—not sugary sweet, but just right. Will be using them again!

My first visit was Easter Sunday , April 12th - I placed my order via email on 4/11/19 - got to the restaurant and the place was packed - had to wait an hour for our order. HOWEVER, everyone serving and trying to get orders filled were all patient and working very hard to do all they could to get orders filled and out the door. They were not prepared for the response they received. BUT let me say the servings were plenty for six people - I ordered for 4 family style. And Mom and Dad had enough for supper on Monday. My Dad has terminal cancer and he absolutely enjoyed this meal more than any other he's had in a long time. He and my Mom too are already wanting to know when I'm going back for another take out. The ham with peach sauce was awesome as was the broccoli casserole (almost as good as mine), mashed potatoes good as were green beans. WE WILL BE RETURNING SOON FOR MORE WONDERFUL FOOD. IF YOU HAVEN'T EATEN AT THE DUTCH BROAD you are missing a real treat. Oh yes, the Strawberry cake was out of this world good. Thanks to the staff for working Saturday night to provide a wonderful Easter meal for my family. Our new favorite place to eat.
