My last visit was very disappointing. I don't eat here very often because of the long drive. All my past experiences were good except this last visit. I ordered fried shrimp & fried scallops last visit. The shrimp were a lot smaller than they used to be and weren't as good as they used to be. The scallops were small also and weren't as good as I had hoped for. I can't say for certain but I don't think they were true scallops from the shell. Some restaurants serve scallops that are not true scallops but made from sharp or other fish. I cannot say for sure that about the scallops I got here but that is what come to mind.
Sandpiper is one of the only places to get seafood in Clinton. It is busy on some days, but the food is good.

I ordered a senior shrimp with a baked potato and macaroni and it definitely deserves five stars. The service was excellent. The cashier helped me carry my order to my vehicle due to me having to use a Walker! Five Stars to her as well!
