This was my daddy's favorite spot when he was living. He would come pick up and go eat. That was before it was cased in. I hadn't been here in a long time since the passing of my dad but my baby brother came home off duty of the Navy and surprised me. The food still the bomb to me. Everything was on point. Thank you 😋♥️
Stopped in for lunch today on a random trip to Clinton. Old school style BBQ joint with the detached dinning room. Serves fresh chopped pork bbq and hand battered fried chicken along with southern staple sides like mashed potatoes, yams, greens, and slaw. One of the best Eastern Carolina style BBQ sandwiches I've ever had!!!

Stopped in yo get some fried chicken and decided to take it home. Going inside was way faster than the drive through. Chicken was juicy yet crispy but the sides were standout..beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Fresh, homemade and just delish. Saved my crispy hushpuppies for dessert. We definitely will be back.
