The food was okay. I ordered a fish plate, it was only 1 little piece of fish on the plate. I was very disappointed. I called cause I thought they had messed up fixing the plate and they said it only comes with 1 piece and she asked did I want to speak to someone and I said yes, she put me on hold for a about three minutes then they hung up on me. I will not be going back for a while. I was very disappointed.

This is where you go for down home country food. Bbq is traditional NC bbq that is seasoned like no other. The sides and desserts are amazing! It is cafeteria style buffet except on Sunday where it’s just cafeteria style with no buffet. This place has been a family favorite for at least 35 years

Parking: Wouldn't let me put my meal, seafood, dry over cooked. Didn't put hush puppies on plate. Went back and got them, they weren't good, not made in restaurant, were frozen out of bag, hard , small hard to eat. Hope food was better on buffet. Won't be going back for take out. I will go to Jim's in Dunn worth a little bit longer drive.

I know that reopening after such a long time away there are going to be growing pains. But after several weeks now things are getting worse rather than better. There’s no food on the buffet. It becomes a cook to order, sit and wait for food for 30 minutes like a regular sit down restaurant. Also the fry cooking is sporadic, too often shrimp over breaded and over cooked, flounder can be the same, though crab is excellent. I would much rather go to Coats rather than Sanford since it is half the time to drive from Fuquay. But at this point if it doesn’t get more efficient I’m going to have to go back to Sanford. Line staff doesn’t tell cooks when an item is out or getting low and the cook staff is always handcuffed because they are playing behind catchup. Know your anticipated volume of customers and keep the buffet stocked and do quality control on the frying.

A restaurant that doesn't have BBQ sauce for their BBQ Pulled Pork and No Ranch available. Very confusing when we entered for dine in, food is not good, some are too salty. Nothing special, bad experience, not recommended.

I had ordered BBQ plates. Upon arrival, parking was plentiful, I was greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant and directed to the “To Go” pick up area. Back at the home front, I opened the plates. I was impressed with the food quantity, quality and tested it to the very last tasty bite. I have been here many times over the past decades and it only gets better.

Place looks cool and the staff was amazing. The food was lackluster. I wouldn't say anything was bad, but I also wouldn't say anything was amazing. Except the yams. But that's because I love yams 🙂 dinner for 2 adults was $37 before tip. For the price, it should be better.

Also, their only bbq sauce is vinegar. I think they'd be better off leaving some bottles of sweet baby rays and use that for the food served at the buffet.
