Fantastic. Best breakfast in the Triad. Never disappoints, and if you leave hungry, it's your fault.

My S.O. and I had a wonderful time here! The place was very cozy and the service was very genuine and kind. I got the chocolate chip pancakes and home fries with eggs and bacon. My S.O. got eggs, sausage, and fried apples. The pancakes were massive! And the home fries were excellent. My S.O. does not often like home fries, and she loved these! We will gladly be returning!

Not really that great. Not sure where the award winning breakfast comes from but place was disgusting. Peeling paint everywhere on ceiling to the point was worried it would get into the food. Dirty atmosphere and food was bland to be nice. Scrambled eggs were soggy like a wet rag. Waitress was nice but pretty sure this is our first and last time here.

9/13/2024 Great food, great service, and super fair prices. We really enjoyed our experience at moose cafe! It’s One of the better priced restaurants in Greensboro and has great portions.

9/20/2024 editing to add that food and service are still good, but be on the lookout for deceptive business practices. Two chocolate chip moosecakes or 2 blueberry moosecakes are $9.49 according to their menu. But if you get one of each it’s $6.99 each plus a $1.49 to add the chocolate chips and blueberries. So they charge you $16.96 instead of $9.49 essentially charging you $7.47 for the extra plate.

Service and food were still great on my second visit, but it’s absolutely ridiculous that they nickel and dime you like that.

First I'm going to start by stating that there were three staff members at the door that didn't acknowledge us at all, a waitress from the back came out and greeted us. She took us to our seats and told us that someone will be with us shortly, let me point out that they were not busy, it was only 4 tables occupied at the time. The other staff individually came thru and checked on each table except for ours, why? I don't know. Then the waitress that sat us down came back and asked for our order. She started by telling us they were out of pancakes, and sausage,(how are you out of breakfast essentials, but anyway) so we ordered the farmers market breakfast with bacon, and the Southern style breakfast with country fried steak. She brought us coffee and biscuits while we waited for our food. The biscuits were cold, and the coffee was burnt. Yes the coffee tasted like charcoal and ash. She then returns to the table to inform us they are out of country fried steak, and if I would like the buttermilk chicken instead, I said sure. When the food arrived the eggs looked as if they were put through a blender and placed on the plate, the buttermilk chicken tasted like old frying oil, they substituted country ham which was overwhelmingly salty, for the bacon on the other order. All this to say the waitress we had was great but the other staff was awful the place could use a good deep clean, and the food is absolutely TRASH and should be served to people under any circumstances. Unfortunately this place should be shut down immediately before someone gets harmed or sick ? from their food

The food is always awesome! For $12 a person for a huge plate of fresh cooked food, you can't beat it!

I went here a lot growing up and sadly it’s not the same. For starters we were give rocks, sorry biscuits, when we were first seated. We were one of few there so maybe that’s why as the second batch wasn’t as hard. The older lady waiting our table made multiple glares over and even made a comment to the people sitting behind us about our 2yo being a bit loud. I understand it can be frustrating for other customers(as it was for us as well) but it’s her job to deal with the people who sit at her tables regardless if it’s a child or a elderly person or a person who has special needs. She also decided to charge us for a child drink, because I gave my 2yo a little out of mine in her sippy cup with out saying anything or even offering to actually bring her a cup of her own drink. Also we noticed other people were referred to as honey and baby but anytime she talked to me it was ma’am (I’m 20btw?) The actual food was okay though it came out pretty quick and was hot, it was a bit basic but that’s not a bad thing. They add charge ons for pretty much everything. The shops around the cafe are nice everyone there is friendly and they have some nice stuff you can buy. The older lady on the end has amazing flowers, I recommend stopping by her booth

Great food and a lot too! Great waitress who told us northerners the best way to eat grits. She checked on our drinks and making sure we were good!
