Well, we sort of stumbled into this place as we are Minnesotans and have never been in this part of the country. Sadly we were kind of late for lunch and they were out of brisket so we "settled" for the smoked chicken salad sandwich and OMG was it yummy. My wife and I agreed that not only was the chicken salad the best we'd ever had, but so was the coleslaw! Now to top it off it turns out the couple that own this amazing place are also a riot, and we had a blast talking with them, although we never did see the Gator they call Cheeseburger, LOL. I promise you if I lived anywhere within 50 miles of this place I'd eat here at least once a week!

Upon entering this establishment I was greeted by a nice lady, very friendly and polite. Mr. Warren took my order, a brisket sandwich and a very good lemonade. It was my first time in and I love it. The brisket was very good and juicy! The pickles and onions with bbq made it the perfect sandwich. I must go back to try more. I notice the grade 100 which really made me feel good about the restaurant. I should have gotten a side as well. No complaints. Great brisket š

Awesome pulled pork sandwich and brisket! We also really enjoyed the coleslaw, French fries, baked beans and macaroni. Everyoneās meal was delicious. Very reasonable prices. Worth driving out of your way to eat here. The owner and staff are super nice. They make you feel very welcome.

I just ate an entire rack of ribs from Stick Burning BBQ. Donāt judge me! It was like once I started I couldnāt stop! They were absolutely the best! If youāre on your way to Nags Head on Hiway 64 or on your way home, stop and experience this great restaurant in our little town of Columbia NC.
True to its local roots, yet fresh and inviting. Very friendly people. Honestly some of the best BBQ we've had in quite a while, and that includes the sides and watermelon slushies!
