44 Mills is such a gem for Concord. The location is super convenient—right near Target, Marshall’s, and several local shops and boutiques. There just aren’t many spots in this area with an elevated menu and truly high-quality food without driving into Charlotte, and 44 Mills absolutely fills that gap.
I’ve been here four times now—twice for lunch and twice for dinner—and the food has been consistently top-notch every single visit. My standout favorites are the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer (a must-order!) and the Steak Pappardelle pasta, which is honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had anywhere.
The servers here are genuinely happy, attentive, and you can tell they like their job. Everything is made from scratch, and it shows—they really know what they’re doing in the kitchen.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great service, and an elevated dining experience close to home.

This was my first time eating here. The food was simply okay. I didn't finish my chicken and hot honey sanwich, mac and cheese, potatoes that came with the sandwich, nor my mocktail. Service was good, Dawson was friendly and polite. The atmosphere was nice, lots of smiling faces. I just wish the food was good. I won't br back.

This has to be one of the better restaurants I have been to lately for lunch. We were greeted promptly when we entered and our waitress came to the table immediately. She was very patient as we looked over the menu, as there are a lot of options to choose from. We started out with the deviled eggs, which I have to admit I’m pretty about. My preference is not to have deviled eggs sweet, but to be more savory. This recipe of deviled eggs was a bit unique and seemed to have some stone ground mustard in it, which I really appreciated and make the flavors a bit different than the average deviled egg dish. We also ordered the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese on the brioche bread. I thought this was a good sandwich although it could’ve used just a little bit more pimento cheese. We also ordered the fried shrimp sandwich which I have to highly recommend, it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp are very large, premium quality and fried just perfect. This is just an outstanding sandwich. The atmosphere is quaint with a casual but contemporary feeling we are very much looking forward to going back!

Can't even believe the prices for what you get. Chicken sandwich $18 fried very dry and McDonalds like, IF I were to eat at McDonalds which I don't. Menu selection overpriced and limited. Very. disappointed. Its on me though, I should have looked at menu before going in but I'm not the person that walks out of a restaurant.

We happened upon this restaurant. It had good reviews but sometimes reviews are not always accurate. Let me be clear, this place is a gem. We went during Brunch. Good location. Atmosphere was family and date friendly. The food was DELICIOUS. Service EXCELLENT. My server Catherine was gracious, thoughtful and kind. She came back numerous times and even asked if I was happy with my food. Yes, I was happy with my food and the entire experience. Management came by and also checked on us. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant. Whoever reads this, go. You will be happy you did.

We just stopped in for a Bloody Mary and it was awesome! Friendly staff, the place was full, meals that were being taken to tables looked great, super presentation and well portioned. Clean, organized and well managed. A great take!
