Always the best pizza at Amici’s in Concord! The delicate crispy crust, always fresh ingredients, and that delicious cheese! We live in Huntersville and drive past a dozen or more pizza joints for this pizza. Thanks for making the best pizza every visit! 🍕❤️🙏

Having visited Amici's in both Conyers and Covington, GA, when I realized I was near one in my visit to Concord, NC, I was game for a stop. What a mistake. I could overlook the old tomatoes on the side salad. I could even overlook ordering a panini and getting dough bread on the sandwich instead of the standard toast (although no one warned me, "Sir, we are out of toast to make the panini. Would any crappy bread that doesn't fit do?") What I couldn't overlook - and was blatantly obvious - was the attitude and frustration of the waitress with the mop of pinkish-red hair as she seemed uncomfortable with personally me -- or perhaps Black people in general, since I was the only one there -- as she took my order. (There was no greeting in general, no pleasantries, etc. though other patrons there who didn't look like me were made quite comfortable.) She seemed in a rush to get me out, yelling across the room to spur me on. And after taking the order, as she sat playing with her iPhone, when I walked to ask that she submit my order with well-done instructions on my wings, she sighed, exasperated. When she came to deliver my take out order, she didn't deliver it, but sat it my way hurriedly, and when I said "thank you," she grunted "uh hmm." Anyone who has lived with racism knows instantaneously what you're dealing with when it's present. Alternately, as I stopped at another store and received the welcoming, common courtesy of assistance and conversation that befits humans to other humans, I understood how abhorrent her behavior was and how aberrant this behavior was for Amici's. Thankfully, I had the great experience of other locations to weigh against. Were it not for that, I would swear off Amici's forever because I don't support businesses, organizations, and people who don't support me. I'm sure I will be returning to Concord. But I'll never set foot in Amici's there.

RUDE RUDE RUDE — DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. I don’t know what the food tastes like because I never got that far. I called today to order with a friendly “Hi, hope you’re doing great this afternoon” only to be met with “what do you want” to which I respond “umm I was looking to place an order for pickup” and then put on hold for 2 mins.

Once back: “ok what can I get you?” To which I ask a question and before I even finished the question: “No”. That was when I gave up. Can’t deal with rudeness and I’m from NJ, where the standard is a mild rudeness. I understand folks are busy but never busy enough to treat a CUSTOMER this way.

I wasn’t treated like a paying customer and instead as if I was a Cambodian scammer. Never going to call or patronize this place again. Unreal.

Fried food was cold and hard...Just chicken strips and cheese sticks...should really be an easy thing...service was non existent. Even after I went to the server and asked for service...It was a slow night...the music was ok but they took several long breaks
