I am from Alabama. This is the best soul food that I have had since we have lived in the Charlotte area. The baked chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned like my grandmother's. The cabbage tasted like my mom's no extra seasoning needed. The potato salad was like my aunt's, it had great flavor. I was so impressed. Not only was the food exceptional, the food was affordable and the customer service was amazing. Edith and the staff made you feel like family....

The staff here are so polite and they are very familiar with the menu and I was so excited to try the entrees.
I ordered the seafood combo with flounder and jumbo shrimp and have a side of yams and okra.
So amazing how every bite was flavorful and intense with seasoning that lingered well after I could take another bite.
Totally awesome experience I will rate them...
