It was not the experience I expected, the decor is interesting but the staff seems annoyed or bothered from the moment you walk in, the way they look at you with disdain, throwing menus on the table and in general the energy of the place even when it was basically empty; the birria empanadas were flavorless and they served it with a regular pico de gallo and a “guacamole” with no real flavor; my husband and father-in-law ordered margaritas, my husband ordered a strawberry one and they brought him a regular one, why? No idea, he drank it because he’s not the kind of person to return things or complain…

We all ordered different type of tacos, for me the chorizo taco was the same, bland, flavorless and it’s the first time I’ve experienced this being Latina and having lived in Mexico, and I understand it’s Tex-Mex but flavorless pork is the last straw; I changed it for my husband's Tinga which was totally average as well as the Carne Asada, and I'm not giving 1 star because the shrimp was good so it was a 1.25 out of 3 with my food, my husband said his birria tacos were pretty average too being his favorite type of taco in general so my conclusion is that I appreciate the quantity (amount of ingredients) inside the tacos and the cool-cute decor inside and out but definitely the food and the staff need sazón.

PS: I went yesterday and today I'm sick to my stomach and that doesn't usually happen to me when I eat at home or even when I eat out at restaurants.

The Birria was bomb! It was moist and succulent. I loved the thick vicious texture of the meat that wasn't too cinnamon nor salty. It was a delicious delectable bite. The Pineapple Chipotle house Margarita was so refreshing. It had a beautiful cloudy color that popped with the pink sugar rim. Definitely getting that again. I came for Tacos but their brunch menu looked delicious too. I hear the avocado toast with Birria is special. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the music and scenery. It's bustling and the selection of tequila is vast.

This place has some pretty okay/good food but i’ve never had such consistent issues ordering online. without fail, they mess up our orders every time through doordash, for example; we ordered the VOLQUETAS, which is Sweet plantains, birria beef, queso fundido. we got a side of plantains delivered. we got the money back and my partner reordered, they send again, nothing but plain sweet plantains. then again recently the same thing. for them to make that mistake and then do it right after when re making out order tells me enough. i am very disappointed with how they handle delivery orders.

Cute spot!
Friendly staff! I ordered takeout.

Birria bowl (chicken)
1 single Carne Asada taco (all the way)

The taco was GREAT! Corn tortilla. Steak was well seasoned. They use a hefty amount of lime in their Guac, so heads up.

My Birria bowl had all the flavors! I’m not sure though of my rice was mushy or of the cheese made it mushy but that was one ‘concern’. My second concern and this is totally my fault — I don’t like pulled chicken breast. It’s so dry!! That was the Birria chicken they had. I should’ve asked. I prefer a fajita style chicken.

Overall, still a 5 Star spot.

Great find in the Concord area! We drove about 40mins from CLT to get some tacos on Saturday and this spot did not disappoint. I was a little hesitant/skeptical of the commute but it was worth it - I wasn't driving so I just rested up and woke up ready to eat!

We were seated immediately in the main room , further back by the restrooms. Arriving at an in between time around 230, we had no wait as a party of 7.

Before you even step foot inside, you can see that this is a place with alot of character. Vibrant wall art outside and a lot of bright colors, signs, and writing on the wall inside.

Menu wise, they have all the classic stuff - tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and of course beer/margs.

I opted for the ghost pepper margarita and it was delicious. For my entree, I had the birria taco and a regular barbacoa taco. Others in the group ordered the margarita flight, nachos, and some elote appetizers.

We were all satisfied with our meals and really enjoyed the decor and atmosphere here. It's a bit out of the way, but worth checking out.

This place is a fun and more modern Mexican restaurant. I came for the ramen and was not disappointed! The margarita flight was a great way to try different margarita flavors. Their horchata flavor was my favorite. The empandas were some of the best we ever had. We preferred the chicken over the beef. The shrimp tacos were amazing as well. This place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back to try more menu items. Especially intrigued by their brunch menu 😋

Service has definitely improved.
The menu has been scaled back and the prices are higher, but I guess prices are higher everywhere.
Good food and a cool atmosphere.

Best birria taco I've ever eaten. Parking isn't the best situation though.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs.

Had birria tacos, guac, a few margarita flights (recommend Guava and Spicy Mango), as well as empanadas. All of it hit the spot, and the consume was as expected. Dont really see how you could go wrong here.
