BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Disappointed in this BJ's location. This is our first time to this location. We regularly eat at another location in another state. Party of four on a Tuesday evening. Parking can be an issue since it is located next to Concord Mills Mall. Server was friendly and attentive. From time of order to delivery to table was 35 minutes (long compared to other BJ's we've eaten at). We were told one our orders was taking 'longer than expected'. Food itself was typical for BJ's, but it was obvious some of our order had been sitting for a while (a couple dishes came out warm at best). Additionally, one of our orders came out with the wrong side. Music was very loud and made if difficult for us to hear each other talk. If we hadn't been to other BJ's prior to this one, we'd probably not eat at one again...fortunately, the BJ's we usually go to has never had the issues we saw here.

This past Saturday I held my mother’s 75th birthday party at the restaurant. I live in Atlanta and have never eaten here, and completely went out on a limb based upon word-of-mouth. I worked closely with Andrew on all of the specific details to ensure that this was a spectacular event. I created my own menu for over 40 guests which included the Atlantic salmon, ribs, ribeye, Sal’s chicken, along with 3 other options for guests with a smaller appetite. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE was extremely pleased with the portions and taste of the food. Like me, most of our guests had never eaten here and simply could not believe the food quality. I am a steak connoisseur and my ribeye was among the best I’ve ever had! Our servers Courtney and Mikey were the BEST! From the moment I arrived, Courtney jumped in, went through possible seating arrangements, reviewed my menu and worked tirelessly to ensure my needs were met. Living in Atlanta, I have grown accustomed to top-tier service and I can honestly say that I received it. The space was extremely conducive for our event and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. Andrew, Courtney, and Mikey - thank you for living out impeccable customer service and helping us make my mother’s 75th birthday celebration a phenomenal event! See you on my next trip❤️

Overall, I enjoyed my visit here. It was definitely busy but service was still attentive and kind. I liked most of what I had: the Ceasar salad had good flavor as well as the avocado egg rolls. The only real downside was the shrimp scampi, which I got for my main. It wasn't bad but it was extremely oily, which overpowered really any other flavor in the dish. It didn't ruin it, but it was the worst part of the dinner. It was still good all together, though!

The Thursday specials were not good at all. The manager didn't even come over to us. The only item that was good was the desert

I don’t know what happened but this place has gone so downhill. We used to go every other week and finally decided we are done. Slow slow slow service, cold food, no flavor. Every. Single. Time. It’s just a waste of money, go somewhere else in Concord mills, we always regret it.

Meh, it is ok. The food can be hit or miss. The service can be hit or miss. And the wait times can get long. My favorite item on the menu is the cheese sticks. And of course you must get a piezookie

I highly recommend Zoe and the manager at BJ's Brewhouse on Dec 19, 2024. Zoe's service was exceptional and she handled a small issue with my food quickly and efficiently. Zoe’s and manager also went above and beyond to ensure that all customers were taken care of. I truly appreciate their dedication to providing great service and will definitely be returning in the future. Zoe also complimented me on my Brand new sunglasses so I gave them to her As a token Of appreciation just for showing up. Thank you Zoe and The manager for a wonderful dining experience!

Fool me 3x shame on me. We won’t be back.! The food isn’t even close to what is advertised. The bartenders were okay although one got talking to a dude and we couldn’t get her attention for at least 5 minutes. It’s too bad since we like the menu, in theory. Those pics are not half eaten. Side wedge $6, side broccoli $6, chicken & soba noodles $20 - for fun I added the menu pics for comparison (2nd set, obviously)

I want to highlight the exceptional service and professionalism displayed by Savanna. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel incredibly welcomed, and her outstanding customer service truly stood out. The food was amazing, and what made the experience even more special was how she conveyed our appreciation for the meal to the chef.
This thoughtful gesture speaks volumes about her supportive and considerate nature, even in ways that may often go unnoticed. We were also able to personally thank the chef, which was such a refreshing and heartwarming experience. It’s moments like these that make dining out memorable. Thank you, Savanna, and the entire team for making this visit so delightful!
