Carolina Ale House - Concord Mills

Stopped in with my son after work for dinner, and I ordered the ribs, they were so dry and hard. I was not able to push my fork through them.
I had to use my knife to get in between the first 2 ribs. I was not able to finish chewing them and spit the meat in my napkin. I gave it back to the waitress after only touching 2 ribs from a full rack. She did asked me if I wanted anything else, and I told her no, and when the bill came, I got charged for them. Very bad experience at this place.

Had a great experience at Carolina Ale House, and Michael Spina really made the difference. He was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing. Service was fast, food came out hot, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want for a casual meal or watching a game. Michael made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Definitely coming back.

I really wish I could say that I love this place but so often it is hit or miss. Whether it's service from the servers or the food the key word is inconsistency. I come here more often then I should, mainly because i reminisce moments when everything is on point. When you guys are on it, the staff write down the orders, food comes out well made and the vibes are great. When you guys fall short, the staff try and memorize orders and fail, made to wait far too long between check ins and worst of all the food comes out cold or wrong (more often than not and most disappointingly on slow days). I really want this place to step it up because I do like the restaurant, but have been burned too many times at this point.

We went here last night to celebrate our daughters new job and I cannot say enough good things about our waitress Bri (sp?) and the entertainer Caleb. Bri was so fun and offered great service and customer care and Caleb and his card tricks were amazing! More fun than we expected. Thanks for making our night even more special. Hope to be back soon.

My partner and I typically sit at the bar. We don't drink but we watch sports and prefer having the option to watch several screens. The only reason we go back is that the food doesn't disappoint. We love their salmon and usually get a blackened salmon salad which is always cooked to perfection. The cooks should be getting our tips because the service is mediocre at best. I think of all the times we have been to this restaurant, we were happy ONE time with service. I wish I remembered the bartender's name because we would request his schedule and only return on those days. The other bartenders seem to only focus on their regulars or whatever they have going on in their personal lives, rather than creating relationships with new clientele by opening communication. Most days weren't busy and unfortunately we keep going back. If one day the food starts to disappoint, we will stop going. Service is such an important factor in where we dine out. The only other thing that brings us here is they have a pool table, which we play a lot of.
