This is my favorite comfort food diner. Great food, great service, and great location. Everything we get is good no matter what it is. My super picky SO even said that they gave the best French Toast he’s ever had. My go to is sausage gravy & biscuits, home fries, and bacon. This place has the best sausage gravy & biscuits I’ve had in a long time.
We needed this in the neighborhood and it delivers. I feel like the negative reviews meant to review the now closed Rachel’s Place because that is the exact service we received there, but never at Cracker of Dawn.

Great little neighborhood diner. Food and staff were great. The Fruity Pebble Waffles were good. The omelet was good and a large serving.
This is one of those small hole in the wall restaurants. Looks to me to be run by a family. The food is great, prices are reasonable and it's nice to dine in a family-friendly environment. We have been there a couple ti.es now and would highly recommend this place.

Food is mediocre. We are in the south, please make homemade biscuits or do not offer them. Mine were awful. Very hard, obviously frozen. Omelette was dry. Service was slow and they were not busy. Really want to like this place since we live close but need to step it up.

I knew when i ordered the rye bread it would likely be stale. IT WAS STALE! They forgot my grits. The gravy wasnt that good. Sausage gravy should have a little sausage in IMHO.
