The absolute best coffee and latte shop in the Charlotte area! It is better than the Huntersville location as well. Great freshly-roasted beans, great craft lattes, great customer service. We come here every Saturday to get our special lattes and i look forward to it all week!They also sell some fresh bakery items, which are excellent as well.
Vegetarian options: There is no meat in coffee-obviously; but for vegans, I’ve seen some options in their bakery items. Obviously a latte can be made with non-dairy milks.
Dietary restrictions: There are non-dairy options such as almond milk
Kid-friendliness: My daughters love their excellent kids’ hot chocolate! It’s a perfect amount for them, and never too hot.
This is a great place to come for my morning read or a meetup with some friends. The coffee and pastries are good, and the location itself is terrific. There is ample parking, a large outside seating area, and a lot of tables and space inside the refurbished mill for one to sit.Defined Coffee is one of many food vendors here. Gibson Mill is an incredible place full of old-time charm. And the coffee is great!

Very friendly staff and the coffee here is the best!! The drinks are expensive but this is so worth it. It reminds me of what Starbucks used to be 25 years ago before they over saturated themselves and lost their unique coffee niche. The food court here is excellent also!

Delicious coffee but pretty expensive. 16oz cardamom vanilla latter with an extra shot of espresso was $9.49. Pretty outrageous. Probably won’t be going very often. Really friendly staff though and delicious muffins .

I visited this coffee shop yesterday for the first time. I was having an extremely bad day, and I was trying hard not to cry while ordering my London fog. Tyler, the barista, noticed and asked me if I was having a decent day. I replied no, and he stopped what he was doing and had a warm and polite conversation with me.I'm a new business owner myself, so sometimes its tough, emotions are high. But Tyler's customer service was exactly what I needed to brighten my day. He acted as if no one else mattered in the moment and focused on me. I will definitely be returning to this coffee shop, and I will never forget Tyler's kindness.Thank You Tyler for being so genuine!!
