I had a taste for fish and chips and checked out the reviews here! On arrival, you order from the till on the left as you enter! They have menus there too!
I asked the chap at the counter about the fish batter and he explained it was a dry batter and yes deep fried!
I had the flounder (sandwich) combo with the chips (French Fries) and a soda! (Tartare sauce on the side).
The fish and chips were made fresh while I waited and I chose to dine in! The atmosphere was very friendly and Lisa came over to chat as I finished my meal - which was very nice!
The fish sandwich was very tasty - nice batter and not at all greasy! The chips were decent too - and they had malt vinegar - yay! (You have to ask for it as they don't have it on the table - likewise ketchup/hot sauce)!
I shall definitely be telling my friends about this shop - and will most certainly be returning!

What a gem! I went with my daughter to check this place out for lunch today and we liked it a lot. The fish was well seasoned and fresh, and the fried okra, onion, rings, and baked beans were good. We both got kool-aid which was a nice touch. Whole staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. You can tell the family loves doing what they do and that they take pride in it. All around great little fish spot that I'm glad I found!

We have been looking for a good place with fried fish and it hit the spot!!! Did not disappoint. I ordered the whiting platter w/mac & cheese and collard greens. My husband ordered the catfish platter w/green beans and French fries. The serving size was perfect and don’t forget about the hush puppies. Definitely our new go to for fried fish. Staff was great!!

It was a true pleasure to visit Annie's for some delicious treats. My girlfriend had the fried catfish and shrimp with Mac and Cheese + Potato Salad. As far as myself, I had the fried tilapia with collard greens + fried corn. The flavors were definitely a lock for a party in your mouth as the fish was fried to perfection. The collards were a little sweet, which was different for me. The fried corn was pretty good, maybe a dash of salt would be needed... just depending on your taste buds. As far as the Mac and Cheese and potato salad...baaaby! Definitely a home run hitter! Overall all I'll give this place an 8.5 out 10. I'll definitely be back for round 2 really soon. By the way, the staff was super friendly and the sweet lady at the register greeted us with a bright smile that already told me we were in for treat. Thank you
I had to call all the way to Alabama and tell my mama about this place. I ordered the flounder combo with the honey bun cake. Everything was 10/10! No notes. See ya next week 😭😂

I ordered he fried flounder sandwich. I think it was frozen breaded not fresh. Tasted ok not the worst not the best. Don’t order the fried corn. It was frozen corn maybe boiled than fried. Very soft. Not what I expected. If it’s not great or good why have it on the menu. Only sale food that’s good people. Not mushy corn. The fish was square not fish shaped. The fish sandwich doesn’t come with slaw and they don’t have red slaw Weird !

We stop here after getting groceries before heading home. The food was great! I had medium shrimp plate with two sides, two side orders of chicken tenders. The only downside to the tenders was the size. But they were good and breaded nicely. My partner had a chili dog with fries and it didn’t stand a chance. He ate it before I could even take a picture. He said it was good, but wished it was bigger. We also got some desserts but we haven’t tried them yet. I’ll update my post after we try it.

I ordered lemon pepper wings, two chicken baskets kids' meals, and sides like collard greens, mac and cheese, green beans, fried corn, and yams. Everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, and you could taste the love in every bite. The lemon pound cake was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal.
This is the kind of place that feels like home-cooked comfort food done right. Highly recommended for anyone looking for flavorful, authentic dishes with great service. I'll definitely be back!

I had such a great experience. The gentleman at the counter that took my order was extremely patient and answered our questions. They literally make your food when you order it so we did wait maybe 15 minutes but it was worth it. Clearly I could not wait to eat this food it smelled so good in there lol I will say the mac n cheese was good but I like mine a little burnt so it could have baked a little longer. I will be returning though my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed
