Had some egg shells in the eggs Benedict, but, otherwise, great food and service!

The food was cold, the eggs were under cooked, the kids macaroni and cheese was over cooked. It was so dark it was hard to see. The server never checked back in to refill our drinks. We will not be going back. There are many better breakfast options in the area.

First of all we waited along time to be seated. We requested a high chair which they never brought. We had to get it ourselves. Our food took forever and when it finally arrived it was cold. I’m not at all impressed with this place.

The Food is good but if I'm paying $15+ for Shrimp and Grits then give more grits at least!! That portion was 1 spoon spread over the plate Geez!! The Mango Peach Bellini was good. And my Server was Great!!
The food is good. Sometimes it is off. But consistently the food is good. But man this place is expensive. I am fond of their pancakes. The only problem is at times the service can be lackluster. It is like since everyone is your server, they assume others have you covered. I like the potato’s when they are “wet”. Sometimes they come out as dry as cardboard. Pro tip: don’t sit at the back near the bathrooms. The bathroom door opens to the dining room. I have been there before and experienced some foul smells during my meal.

Girlfriends and I met for our annual Christmas holiday lunch. I arrived at 2 PM, another person at 2:05 and the rest of the group at 2:10. We immediately ordered drinks and said that we wanted a minute or two to look at the menu. All seemed like a normal great day at Toast.
Until it seemed like we were not a Toast.
It took over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive.
Actually, our food arrived before we ever got anything to drink.
Our waitress had left after we gave her our order and said that the bartender would be making the drinks and someone else would be bringing our food. We were told she never passed any information onto any other employees before she left.
She left and evidently never put our order in. Our food finally arrived before our drinks.
I ordered sautéed veggies with cheese on top w cheese & salsa. No cheese. No salsa.
And I was charged the same price as if I had gotten an omelette and sides.
And let me just throw in that my basil lemonade with Tito‘s tasted like water with a squirt of lemon.
I asked for the manager and honestly she was not prepared to have this conversation! And she also was unaware how to handle it.
Come on Toast we know you are better than this! Hope there is a next time to proove it!
The example of mediocrity at it's finest. Cross contaminated food..my eggs had avocado on them and my turkey sausages had strawberry jam smeared on one. The famous flapjack must be famous for how bad it was..no flavor with its only taste coming from the charred remnant of the previous griddle item and the sprinkle of powdered sugar and poor quality maple syrup. We had to ask for silverware at least three times from different people working here and by the time the silverware came everyone's food that wasn't missing was cold. Don't know whether to blame he kitchen or front of house for screwing up pretty much all our orders. I came in craving pancakes, but I left disappointed and wanting. I thought it was just the other Famous Toastery that was bad, but seems it's maybe more than one. Never again
PS if you're good with bland and don't have any dietary restrictions, this place is aces
Dietary restrictions: Don't mean a thing here... cross contamination of foods not even ordered on our table!

Flapjacks were delicious! We did not get what we ordered. We asked for bacon on grits, instead they gave sausage patties and no grits.

We'd been there this past weekend and as always, good food and service. Giving service a 4* as they don't offer corn bread to start with anymore, and we were told we'll be provided if asked for and we're still not.

Went to Famous Toastery with my in-laws to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The food served to us and the server both were cold. I have had brunch in famous toastery so many times but I guess my mistake was coming over to this location. Our server was least interested to serve us, it took us a good 15-20 minutes to get any attention and it was hardly 10-15 people dining at the same time. Highly disappointed!!

Update: Both the assistant manager and manager reached out to apologize and refund our visit and retrain the waiters on customer check ins. I appreciate this a lot so I’ll change the review to 2 stars. Hopefully in terms of service we just had some bad luck.
Truly a disappointment considering the high reviews and how consistently busy it is. We ordered the famous Toastery bowl which came out cold to the touch and had essentially no seasoning. The potatoes were basically flavorless and there was no other seasoning including in the hollandaise making for a very bland bowl. The pancakes I received were slightly better but overall forgettable. Our waitress was by far the worst part of the experience. She put in our order and never once returned to our table. The pancakes came without syrup and I had to ask the busser to give me the used one from the table nearby because our waitress would not make eye contact despite taking multiple trips to the two tables next to us. When we finished eating she did not even return to check us out despite watching another waiter check out guests at their table. Had to go to the front and check out ourselves. Needless to say there are much better breakfast spots (including First Watch across the street) and we will not be back ever.

The food quality is good but it’s inconsistent. The university location is better.
😜My wife and I had Brunch here today. I want to say that the wait staff were very attentive to our wants and needs. The restaurant was very busy. We sat at the bar and 3 people and the bar tender made sure our needs were being met. The food came fast and was hot and delicious. Some of the best service we have ever received. We will definitely be back soon!
