Came here during lunch with a couple of friends. Love the decor as it reminds me of some of my favorite Mexican restaurants when I was younger. There's two sides to the restaurant, one for a buffet and one for regular dining. We got regular dining. The complimentary chips and salsa also included a queso and salsa verde, which were delicious. Food arrival was quick. I got the #5 lunch special (loco burrito) and my friends got enchiladas (I forgot which ones but they were in the 20s). Portions for lunch specials were still great and filling.

Drive all the way from Mooresville to eat here! Best Mexican restaurant in the area. Love the fact they got Corona Premier on tap, and offer the lunch plates all day long (only $1.75 more after 4pm)... Always great service!

I cant speak for everyone, but since covid... Dining experiences across the board have been pretty terrible.
I am happy to say that this place is breaking the norm in that regard.
We were sat instantly. They provided chips and water quickly and took our order. Food was served quickly with great portion size and freshness.
Our waitress was attentive and present. The manager checked in twice.
The price was more than fair.
Impeccable experience with great food for the money.
We will return.

Let me start this but I've had some of my best meals in the United States at this restaurant, but they truly lack consistency. While sometimes the food comes out cooked perfectly while also hot others it comes out mediocre and Luke warm at best. Service tends to differ based on the server, while some are much better than others. All in all pretty good restaurant while panderia is also close by and one worth the visit after for dessert.

My wife and I are leaving the Concord area after 7 years and will very much miss this place. It was our first restaurant in the area after closing on our home and it was delicious! Fast forward and over the years we've taken each guest/family member from out of town here and all raved about it. Between everyone who we've taken there, I think at least 30+ different dishes were tried and each was delicious per us and our guests. Concord has many Mexican restaurants, but after trying three others, we determined this was the best. They have a nice outdoor patio too which is nice since the weather in the area is pleasant for so long. Great daily specials (including fantastic margaritas!) and you can tell the owner cares about his customers and staff. Not sure if we'll ever get back here after our move out of state, but hasta luego!
