Normally, I like FW. Maybe I just picked a bad day. It was only two of us on a Saturday morning. The wait was 40 minutes a table, so fairly customary. My real concern is customer service wasn't good. They weren't actively terrible, just inattentive. I had to prompt our server to refill drinks and bring the check. The only reason we were at our table so long was waiting on her to handle things.
Overall, the experience wasn't bad. They had runners bringing food so people didn't wait for that. It may have been a one-off or bad day.

This particular first watch was not the best. Our food was cold, eggs burnt, and the toast was not toasted at all. Waitress was in space! Greensboro location much better.

Poor quality food and cooking. Gravy is gelatinous, potatoes are undercooked. Pancake came without butter or syrup. Biscuit dry, flat, and flavourless. Disappointing and disgusting. Waste of money.

We usually get good service at first watch however this morning November 3, 2024 was the exception my complaint is with the blonde hostess. She held the community table for no one to use except one person for 30 minutes , then she seated the six people and left 6 seats vacant at a 12 chair table, That has always been a community table that is first come first serve , but the hostess wanted to seat a group of six people at the table and inconvenienced everyone else.to accommodate them, I heard her tell many couples that it was a 30 minute wait for a regular table, while they could of been seated at the community table. I time stamped the photos here for proof.And then no one else could sit at the community table afterwards but the private group. The two people in the photo at the community table is a customer waiting on a to go order and a lady by herself on the end. Why not seat the party of 6 on the community table ? Horrible to hold the community table for one person and then not let anyone else sit at the community table afterwards. Rant off and I hope the blonde hostess doesn’t do this junk again. This cost the waitress that waits the table, cost us 15 minutes waiting on another table and the company money because of the table sitting empty.
