I’ve been a loyal “Crabby Tuesday” customer at Full Moon in Concord for years, but the new pricing has made it tough to continue my weekly tradition. The All You Can Eat snow crab legs jumped from $69 to $90—a 30% increase—while the 1 1/2 lbs deal stayed at $45, and the 3 lbs option rose 10%, from $59 to $65. The 1 1/2 lbs deal is $30 per pound, the 3 lbs is $21.67 per pound, and the All You Can Eat (I ate 3 lbs) is $30 per pound. The less you eat, the more it costs per pound, which feels like it punishes lighter eaters. At $90, the crab legs aren’t top-of-the-line; they’re often smaller, not uniform, and harder to crack. I’d pay that if they were premium quality, but they’re not. I get that every batch can’t be perfect due to variables, but I expect more consistency at this price. With crab-stuffed oysters, my check hit $150, plus 18-20% gratuity, totaling $185-$190 after tipping. I can get a steak dinner for $100-$120 or a seafood buffet at the beach for $60 with better value—crab legs there are cracked well, even if it’s a four-hour drive. I didn’t notice the increase until the check—I didn’t check the board since I knew the old prices. That’s on me, but a social media announcement would’ve helped; I saw nothing on their page. Crystal (manager) said tariffs on imported seafood are driving the increase, but it doesn’t add up. If tariffs were the main cause, all crab specials should’ve risen by a similar percentage, not just the All You Can Eat by 30%, while the 1 1/2 lbs deal had no increase and the 3 lbs only went up 10%. Crystal and Darren (server) were the highlights—phenomenal! Crystal’s warmth and professionalism make every visit special; her smile and leadership make Full Moon feel like home. Darren was attentive, friendly, and a joy, keeping everything seamless with a fun energy. They’re outstanding, and the pricing isn’t their fault—they’re gold! The atmosphere is lively with bar-style seating, perfect for a crab feast, but pricing is impacting business—few ordered All You Can Eat this time. Friends at the Jamestown location also stopped ordering crab due to pricing. Maybe host “Crabby Tuesday” every other week? I’ll drop to once a month. 3/5 stars for great service but poor value

Best grilled oysters in Charlotte. And the price beats other options out there.
They do them New Orleans style so you’ll get a nice char from the oysters while enjoying them in their buttered goodness.
We drive 45+ minutes just to eat here🙃

My 1-star is based on my recent visit 12/5. Myself, hubs, MIL, FIL eat here at least 1x or more a week. We live around the corner. I have spent a better part of my younger years in hospitality industry & around restaurant entrepreneurs. 1st alot of folks are off on Fridays so their weekend starts on Thurs. so I was surprised how dead it was. Wondering if business has dropped off lately due to poor service. It was freezing cold this night & possibly why FMOB was slow & a handful of customers at best. After being sat a few mins, girl who greeted us handed us off to a male server with a beard/hat, told it was his 3rd dy. He took drink order and tuna bite app, usually on a busy night we never waited over 15 mins for an app. We asked nicely a few times for my hubs drink, then asked if he could check on our app, it had been over 1/2hr. Tuna is quick seared & served so this wait time was odd. We asked in beginning for our slaw/pots. Asked a 2nd lady for them, she said ok, still no pots/slaw. Still waiting on hubs drink too. This new guy is walking the bar on his cell phone clueless we are customers there to have dinner/drinks. My inlaws ordered tuna bites & oysters as did I. Again charbroiled oysters & tuna are quick cook items. Sat over an hour waiting on these items. Asked new guy to please check on our food who goes to the essay window, comes back tells us they are plating it now. Another 10 mins goes by & a kid brings a dz oysters & hands them to 2 guys at the bar that came in 1/2 hr after us & already were eating 1/2dz oysters when they were handed my diabetic father in laws food! Mind you we still dont have any of our food! We said i thought they were plating our food but you just gave it to these guys over here. I guess we sat another 20mins, my MIL is livid, we all are. Finally some food starts to arrive & after being ignored & disregarded as patrons through this entire experience, he blames the kitchen saying they lost our ticket! How does this happen IF you checked on our food & come tell us its being plated? I also have pics on my phone of kitchen staff on their cell phone as they lean/rest in the essay window. The employees should be grateful & working here should be a privilege because the average 20% tip on a food/bev ticket is fairly lucrative per seat with menu costs for fresh seafood. People eat where the food is good but the service is awesome! It was evident the regular staff NOR MANAGEMENT of any kind was present this night because there is no way our experience as REGULAR guest was acceptable! If I was management there I would of fired a few on the spot at least told them since they didnt wanna do their jobs, clock out & go home! As restaurant owner, Id want to know these things, because you cant improve customer service if you dont know. Feel free to pm on fb if you have any questions. Thanks!
