I was raised in RVA by an Eastern NC dad who taught me about great BBQ. My husband and I discovered Hatch House at Food Truck Friday in Waxhaw and it was, hands down, the best BBQ I’ve ever had. If you haven’t tried it - find out where he’s at and go! You won’t be disappointed!
Our family went to Neoteric Brewing on 3/8 and Hatch House was there and we were hungry! We ordered 1 pound of brisket, 1 pound of chicken, and some Mac n cheese for the kids. The meat came with fries and chips. Everything was fantastic. Brisket was fall apart tender, chicken was moist, and Mac n cheese was very creamy. We ate great, kids ate great, and we were happy! Best Brisket I’ve ever had! The peach habanero sauce is a house recipe that’s available which is very unique and a must try! If you like it, it’s even bottled for sale at a very reasonable price!

The owners are very personable and super friendly. Everything was fantastic.
