Hawthorne's NY Pizza and Bar Concord

I ordered lasagna around 9:30 Saturday October 4th. In South End. They made it look yummy on their website but what they served me was not edible. It looked as if someone drowned lasagna noodles in spaghetti sauce but the sauce wasn’t even red so I’m not sure what it was. By the time I got home and got a look at it the restaurant was closed so I couldn’t take it back.

We ate lunch during the Art Walk,it was very busy but the service was great as was the pizza.

Had our pizzas delivered via Door Dash. We live just over 2 miles from the restaurant. Both pizzas were cold! The gluten free crust on mine was burnt. First time ordering from there, last time too

They have the best wings and fries...period. wife likes their pizza. All good!
Friendly, courteous and quick on the beverages.
I'll add that our last Saturdays server was absolutely gorgeous, personable, and our service was excellent.
We visit regularly when in town.

We had such a nice lunch. Cienna waited on us and could not have been more welcoming. I am a self confessed customer service snob and she far exceeded my expectations. In fact everyone we came in contact with was delightful!

The food was good, but the manager’s behavior was very unprofessional. She was walking around with a vape in hand, and it was clear how rude she was to her employees. It was honestly sad to see the staff treated that way — those girls deserve a better work environment.

We eat here occasionally and it has been a great place to go. We were initially sat in a booth and had ordered an appetizer and drinks. Friends decided to join us at the last minute. We asked another waitress if the kids could sit at the bar so the adults could stay at the booth and she said that they could do that. The manager then came over and said that the three open bar stools were reserved for their “regulars” who stay there until 10. It was 8:30 pm and the bar stools were empty. She also said there was a 30 minute wait but there were open tables and not a single customer at the front door. The manager moved us to a larger table that had been sitting empty, which was nice but a server never came over, EVER. We waited over 45 minutes and not one person came over. I talked to another waiter and he said there were only 2 waiters and the manager had left. There were about 5 other employees standing by the hostess station talking. We left at 9:30 and the bar stools were still empty. I guess the “regulars” are invisible. We ended up going to McDonald’s. It was such an odd and rude experience. Sorry, but that was our last time there.

The food at Hawthorn’s was delicious, and our server was attentive and friendly—overall a really nice dining experience in terms of both food and service. However, the manager did not come across as very professional during our visit. It was disappointing considering the quality of the rest of the experience. She was the female manager with long hair. With better leadership presence, this place could be top-notch.

We will be back, amazing pizza! The signature pizza had great flavor, and the crust was out of this world! afterI saw someone else's order of garlic knots, mad me wish I had ordered those as well.

We love Hawthorne’s in Concord and we love Todd and the rest of the servers, but this summer heat has been oppressive and the air conditioning is definitely lacking.
