Salad with Famous Sirloin Tips.
First, if you did a speed read on the menu go back and look at it a little closer. The pot roast is on Saturdays if it’s not Saturday, you’re not getting pot roast. Fast personable service w/o pushy up-sale suggestions to get some dessert. Reasonable amount of food for the price.. Nice Overall Experience.
I should’ve asked if there was an option to get a little onion fried in with the mushrooms perhaps next time.
And yes, I’m gonna cross the line. Thinking out loud here - if I were at home making famous steak tips I’d sprinkle a little meat tenderizer on the meat and let it stand for a few minutes before I cooked it. Also, would take my trusty Meat Mallet and I teach it who’s boss a few times, don’t overdo it…
The Lady at the Hotel Desk that recommended a stopping in was correct.
Good Food, Reasonable Price.

I thought the food was WAY overpriced for the quality of food you received. No breakfast with a name like Johnny's farm house.. this place wasn't anything to jump up and down about....

Good home cooking at reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly.
Update: July 2025...In the past, the food has been very good, but my last two visits have proved otherwise. Pot roast was so overcooked you could barely cut it. I never send food back, but did that day. The hamburger steak i chose to replace it was overdone as well. My daughter had the hamburger steak and hers was overcooked also.
I'll give them another try, and hope this was just a bad day for them.

Service was very slow. Give them credit, I wouldn’t want to wait tables so God bless those who do. Food was average. We had salmon and cod. I think we’d been better off with sandwiches.

If your taste buds are dead this is the place for you. Never have I gone to a restaurant and cried, with utter disappointment. The water my wife ordered had more flavor than the food. The staff was awesome, polite and very attentive.

I enjoy the Food. The only thing that was lacking was the service.
The waitress was very inexperienced and the wait time for the food was over 50 minutes I don’t know what they were doing in the kitchen but my husband will not be returning.

We enjoyed the food but the wait to be seated, along with the wait for our food and the lack of attentiveness of our waitress took away from the dining experience. Despite the good food, I doubt I will be returning.

I would 100% recommend this place! The serving size is big enough for 2 plates. Wonderful and fast service

Service was not bad though I went during lunch so it wouldn’t be as busy as dinner. The Chicken Teriyaki was solid but the Okra here stole the show. Solid place to try out
