It's been a few years since I left a review for this business so I decided to update my review from before. Juamoto is the place to go for raw vegan food in the Charlotte/Concord area. Customer service, check, Food, even better than it was (and i don't know how that's possible), Vibe check. My daughter is not a raw vegan fan and she loved the raw cheesecake. Also the wrap he made me was so good and filling. I was able to have it for lunch, dinner and still have a little bit left over. Well worth the money. And honestly, you know a good raw vegan restaurant when the owner is glowing and gorgeous. If you go to a raw vegan restaurant and the owner has bad skin and a bad attitude? yeah, don't eat there.

The flavors were very good and I thought my wrap was delicious but the prices are honestly insane. I can’t justify returning to eat here even though I really liked the food. I’ve worked in many restaurants and the food costs for wraps like this are low enough that the prices they charge don’t make sense. I get they have overhead but over $20 for a wrap is absurd. Especially since it felt like 85% of the wrap was kale. The woman who took my order was a little awkward/short with me when I asked questions, but the man who was making my food was extremely nice and seemed like a great guy. I doubt prices will ever be lowered so I don’t think I’ll be back. Still giving 4 stars since I really liked the flavors. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-03
You want CLEAN, FRESH atmosphere, service and most of all Nurturing food for your mind, body and soul. If you’re in Charlotte YOU NEED to Come Here on a weekly if your passing through you MUST Stop!

I always enjoy my visit to JuaMoto's, the conversation with Dr. Tau and others, and the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food is always fresh, clean eating friendly, and good for the body. Sirius Sage salad in photo.

I had the Sunfire salad and it was delicious. I will get it again. I am looking forward to trying other food options as well.
I got one of the wraps and it was bursting with flavor and was very filling; I was able to make two meals out of it! The raw cheesecake was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had!

The food is amazing! I went yesterday for the second time before they closed so they only had the Sunfired kale wrap. I got it and was sooooo happy. I used to be raw vegan many years ago and would like to get to at least 50% raw vegan soon. It was the best flavored wrap I’ve ever had- raw vegan, vegan, or Omni. I even got to make two little friends while I waited :) I also got the sea moss smoothie which was good. My only complaint is that it’s so far from my house. For that reason, it’s VERY hard for me to get there as I have a little one. Hopefully the owner will consider doing the vegan pop ups, festivals, and food trucks in Charlotte so more of us have opportunities to enjoy the food.

I tried the sunfired wrap and it is very delicious. The service is excellent and the establishment has a very casual vibe. I will recommend this restaurant to other people and will return to try other dishes.
